Me want to install lighting to my SX door's reflector.....my friend's Avante also got reflector but no lighting.....so went to install lighting (was told less than $50) now when doors are opened, both the door reflectors will light-up.....look cool leh...

SX forte door reflector can light-up when door open ? Any SX owner here can confirm ?

I will install a brake lock... Just need to pull up a handle to virtually lock your brake pedal to prevent theft... They will need a super big cutter to cut it off...

BUT... I doubt that this aftermarket addon is available for this kimchi car yet... However, it will be available ~Based on my firm belief - Coz Forte is hot!~

I also would like to have these performance, but i rather get a civic to do the engine mod. I think a Kia car's material is not so ready into engine mod and honda had alot more of stuff to readily consider. Dont ask me to list, i also dont know how to explain to u.

Normally, Every 2 weeks or u can say 1 month 2 times. Last week we had 1, so next wed should be the next one ba.

Went to install my door lighting last Sat, the boss told me its called "courtesy light " (don't ask me why ).

After trial and error for about 30 mins with the various LED type/design, finally found the right type of LED lights (about 1.5 cm by 1.5cm). Unlike Forte's older brother the Avante, which has an opening behind the reflector (for lighting purpose), Forte was designed more like the i30, there is no opening behind the reflectors thus they have to drill and cut a small opening on the plastic area to seat the lighting so that the reflector can be re-installed over it without any obstruction.

After completion (about 1.5 hrs), damaged = $75 (Avante only $48 due using cheaper LED and lesser manhours) Went to compare with another Avante nearby and found that mine the LED looks brighter and the effect better. Very satis with the effect.....imo EX interior look kinda plain....this light make my EX look like more expensive car now..... pay already must say something nice mah

yes LED installed behind the door relectors and its on the two front doors only. Damaged is abit on the high side....maybe some bro can check with other shop to try to get the best price....

maybe ur usb drive is clash with the same drive u had used.. Go to my computer and right click "manage"... Disk management.. Try selecting different drive letter for your USB

if e worksmanship is gd then its money well spent... no pt cheaper by few dollars but end product is not satisfactory...

i'm quite interested i tis "courtesy light " leh... which workshop did u went to? do they need to dismantle e door panel? a lot work involved?

Need to dismantle door panel to do wiring and also to cut the opening for the lighting...no complain about the workmanship.
