how much you got for the rims?

Anyway the RR grills, BodyKit and Rims upgrade all cost approx $1000 for me. I set aide 1k for upgrades and its still within my budget =D $1080 to be exact.

New model, the bodykit i bought same as the C & C one as i prefer it. ABS material and they gave me warranty 3 mths for paintworks. I actually ask around about rims price for advanti and many places quote me $500-$600 even after trade in...

i bought my advanti rims for 500 after trade.. u got a bargain for the rims.. as for the BK, y u buy the MACH?? some bros n sis here comments very negatively abt it.. but as always, to each their own.. congrats on ur poison man!! post the pics soon!!

btw, ur rims same as mine ah?? if same like tat i kena cheated sia.. lolx

You trade in just the rims or both tyres and rims?

Juz the rims as my car quite new no need change tyres.

$300 for the rims, Ikenna cheated already, $630 is the price one shop (the one frequently mentioned in the forum) quote and no nego. Wah Lao, very upset Liao. That shop insisted anything cheaper than five hundreds are china replica rims which I fall into that crap.

btw samuelj's shiny rims cool, matching with the chrome handles. saw a black car (not forte) with black rims yest, felt the contrast not really there.

China-made? Taiwan also consider china liao ma...hahaha...Advanti is taiwan made. about 7-8kg per rim. Good enuff liao lo. It did improve my FC by that wee bit compare to stock rims.

Bro 5kg difference per rim = 20kg overall leh!
For me I removed spare rims also so its about 30-40kg+ kg off my car. I seriously feel my car's pick up is so much better now.

Remove back seat, front passenger seat, saw off ur roof, change body to carbon fibre.. U do all this, confirm ur pick up and FC super good.. Haha.. Well, u can take things out of ur car n all.. But as for FC, its ur right leg that matters most.. Hee

I have always felt that if we were to color the brake caliper... it would make the color scheme look much nicer.

Haha!!! Like that nothing left liao la.... Im pretty light footed... dunno why but first week of getting my car the FC was pretty bad. like 10.5km/l. After 2 weeks its now averaging 11-11.5km/l. Heard from my friend that new cars first 1-2 weeks fc is poor but aft that shd be better. Dunno how true la... But anyway now after changing rims I hope it can hit 11.5-12km/l on avg.

before changing rims, 11.5L/100KM. Now 7.9L/100KM. But, i change tyre too la. 80% expressway though. If i run 50%/50% city/expressway, then it is about 8.5l / 100 km.

I am thinking to remove my spare tyre and see if i can reach 6.9l / 100km or not. BTW, one 1 person in the car for the above reading.

My car still very noisy though. I realise, the door can be open every easily just as if it is not closed. I was wandering, does the sound come from the loose door. Do you guy see it ?

I dont think u can reach 6.9l / 100km juz by removing spare tyres... its too much already. Prob from 8.5 drop to 8.2 only at most...
