i only got the key pouch somewhere else (but it is currently spoilt).

I like your key.....But i asked my SE about it and he claims that there has never been such key....instead he insisted that the EX's key is just a simple remote as like all cheapo aftermarket alarm system.

i just found out that there is a big hole near the brake pedal and there is a pipe coming in from the engine bay. do you have it?

There are benefits to these after market alarms...

You can go to most shops that duplicate keys and get a flip key alarm.

So you have to get aftermarket alarm and remote central lock ?

The se gave me a normal aftermarket alarm with lock unlock remote, solar film and reverse sensor only. He claims all ex are like that no remote like yours. Dunno if other bros face the same prob.

So you mean its seperated ? One for the remote and one for the key ?
If so, then yours looks like SX version. Because SX has remote boot release.
Mine is also aftermarket alarm. Dont think they give us (and dont think there is) original alarm from Korea Kia.

If I am not wrong, EX from Ubi had their keys and remote in 2 piece. The remote is kinda like a keychain with 2 buttons, a green one to lock/unlock, and a small black button to search for car. While the key is simple with black rubber on the end, looks like spare key anyone can make from the shop in the market.

EX from LK has remote build in at the end of the key, i.e 1piece with 2-3 buttons. The search button is red if I remember correctly.

Your flip key is tagging on the current alarm system? how about the buttons? same only two buttons?
I personally feel its better to separate the lock and unlock buttons, and best if got a panic button and a silence button. How much did you pay for the flick?

I still find bro pessimist's key nice.....should have gone to LK instead. Seems like Ubi is the unwanted stepchild of C&C.

2 buttons have the same function - lock/unlock .. (can use either one to lock/unlock)

but i didnt change the alarm system.

the flip key remote is just sync to the stock alarm, so u can try out on your Forte.
