Boot light is good !!
Am thinking of doing the leg lights instead of cabin as from the way i look into his car, it seems to be extremely glaring.
What toys did you get ?

hi pessimizt, can EX driver seat be tilted up and down abit? i saw the feature with SX model.
kqkhlj- Junior Member
Re: Metal Bronzee
kqkhlj, can can, the seat can be tilted with a lever on the right of the seat. One is for the backrest and the other is to tilt it up and down by depressing or pulling it up.

The leg room one looks kinda cool.
But you planning to do the door one?
If you are, can you check if they can set the door to only light up for the door that is open only?
Coz the installers for the ones that I've asked so far can only set to light all doors up when any of the door is open.
As for what I did...... U can see it anytime you want what.
See the antenna.
Shorter one. But not sure if it's nicer though.

Bro joepele, i dont think will be doing the door light cos its more troublesome and expensive.
Moreover, i tested on the guy's car and it seems pretty bright to iluminate the outside when i open the door.
Wah....shorter antenna ? From motec ?
Thought you intended to do sharks fin ?

talking about car mat....I remember my previous ride, the floor board has studs and the carpet has ring hole that will sit over it....it prevent the carpet from shifting/moving about and all my carpets are always in place (look really neat)....... unlike my current Forte always have to pull here and there to position them.....
muff- Senior Member
Re: Metal Bronzee
For your case, which type you've bought for your carmat? and which one look nicer? if I'm not 3 pcs tends to shift right?
Forte899- Junior Member
Re: Metal Bronzee
the current backseat floor mat that I'm using (carpet - original fro KIA) is a one piece type and it always shift out of position (wish KIA will improve the design for future batch).....

Re: Metal Bronzee
Kia's one has velcro at the bottom of the mat........but it seems like serving no purpose.
I got mine at 3Acarmat.com.sg (which comes with studs), and it also shifts here and there.

Re: Metal Bronzee
the studs I'm referring on my previous ride are mounted onto the floorboard. And each carpet actually has 2 holes (at the top 2 corners) to clip/lock onto the studs....this way the carpet would be locked in place and not shift.....

Done almost 2800km mileage. FC as per below:
Dont know if its Esso 2000 giving better mileage or the engine is running in.
But anyway, am glad that the FC is improving gradually.

Nope from Vim, it's in Defu lane 10 near our house.
Nice guy.
He gave me a good price for the Hurricane air filter... but may do it after the first 1k servicing.
But are you planning to do the PPS?
Having second thoughts, met Tiny and Divine @ Motec and they commented and sounded logical that it may not be much help.. @ best, protect from tree sap, bird droppings...
But where we park... dun have those le... maybe the occasional bird droppings lor.

Oh....Vim auto. Yup its super near us. The antenna is nice ! Whats the damage ? Expose it lah !!!
Anyways, Hurricane filter actually improves on performance right ?
FC will not be affected right ?
PPS (CS-II) ? Yup, also considering (have already gotten the so-call discount from mycarforum). So far, i have been using plain water and microfibre cloth to wipe it clean. Never use soap nor send to any place to wash before.
But the PPS should also help to maintain the colour shine in the long run too right ?

What freebies you have for your car?? Usually EX they will give alarm and reverse sensor as freebies one.

Re: Metal Bronzee
Some workshops selling 2-way transponder alarm at $200+.
Check with your SE what sort of alarm he/she giving you.
Reverse sensor i not so sure what is the market rate. Have to ask some workshop.
Maybe you can try to PM some of the advertisers in the forum ?

So total $400. Still less than $100 and still cheaper compare to our time when they quoted us $500.

I thought alarm and sensors sure give one. Bro kqkhlj, think you better check with those same batch as you one what freebies they got. If they have them as freebies with the same price you're paying for your car means your SE knife you liao.

They will later say... you misunderstand la... they only mentioned central locking.
So the best way is to ask the joker to write everything down when you sign the app form.

When my SE told me he gave me those as 'freebies', i told him i already expect those to come from him and not included in the so called "freebies" list....

Bro,
My SE initially told me it comes with alarm (yah right.. SILENT alarm) I blasted her like no one's business. Not sure if EX comes with it coz what I understand is that EX's alarm is local fitted whereas SX's from Korea.
kevinhwc- Junior Member
Re: Metal Bronzee
Bro kevinhwc, what silent alarm ?
By the way have you signed any papers to book the car ?
If you have, kindly check on the paper if they indicate alarm and reverse sensor (under accessories or something). If have then you are safe. If not, then try to ask the SE about it. Ask them to re-write or add-on onto the piece of paper to honour it. Else, they can jolly well ignore anything on the day of collection.
Just my opinion. Maybe some SE will throw it in to make the customer happy.

Ummm.....kqkhlj, think you might be able to take that out if you just book your ride because the car is not here yet and the items has not been installed. Better to call your SE to double confirm.
