fortei -EX 1.6 booked on 12th April Coming 6th bid

The next bidding is on the 7th of July?

actually my other car was the avante, but design wise I still don't like it, would have ended up doing alot of modding works. the impreza was a great choice as well, just a couple of Ks away from the SX.

I topped up to get guranteed already, I need to change my current ride, plus I calculated the price difference for the current 1.6 SX, i think it's worth the top up since it's cheaper than what they increased. Also instead of going to another dealer, my 3 months depreciation also lost few hundred but they are taking at the same price.

Impreza is a nice car ... but insurance is a KILLER. At least 2.5x more ex

Ok seems like me, astroboy, and fortei are the 3 bros that got left behind. Short of a miracle with this round COE i don't see how we can get it.

Seems like with current trend, either have to buy immediately or wait till end of the year before COE becomes decent again.

1) Top up 5k to compensate their lost in the 15k Open Cat Coe (was reserved at 11688 the last time and I should topup around 3.4k for the difference but was told to top 5k, which means the 11688 was reserved for show, knowing that they will outbid us in bidding for other lucrative deals)
2) continue to bid for another 2 rounds.
3) reluctant to refund my deposit

But of course, SE did everything to brain wash me that it is still worth it to top up with the current price, then I brain wash back that if they got my coe at at the 7k stage and wait for my car as it is still valid for 6months, now I do not have to topup liao. Bingo, that did the trick to shut SE up kekeke

SE advise top up or refund loh. While asking us to top up 4-5k is as good as asking to refund.

Another option is bid extension but please think twice coz prices are rising and bid extension means they have more bargaining power as other cars become more expensive.

Haha the sums dont even match. Refer to eraser's msg, some of the topup definately goes into their pocket.

It's fine to extend if you're not planning to get any other car, otherwise by the time extension is over, you'll find that other makes are now even more expensive and the topup is now 6-7k

Just to add. It is exactly they are asking different customers to top up diff amount of $$, some guaranteed and some not that really pisses me off. It is broad daylight ripping off customers.

1 thing about calculating the amount they earn from each car deal, are the taxes and whatever the car costs that was involved. Yes it looks like they are earning little from us. But has anyone factored in the bank loan commission ? insurance commission ? and last but not least the servicing charges that they gonna chop you when you service your car ? and yet, they still ask us to top up an open cat coe that will drop the moment you convert it to Cat A or Cat B coe

All adds up to fat profit to maintain an inefficient team that would foul up the customer's order.

I might as well take the 2K and visit a reputable PI where everything also in black and white.

Just wanna share my opinion thats all, but 2K topup is still a no-no for me, as if they did not earn enough from me.

i had send email to matthew to express my unhappiness for didnt bid for me for the last 5 bidding. however, he refer me to another guy name brandon who had also reply me, tell me that they will look into the case n i had reply them today, to tell me y they didnt bid for me.
my se didnt tell me to top up. he nv mention top up to me. he juz tell me he will do his best to secure a car for me

2K top up is ok...if not after the 6 bids non-guranttee, they can refund u and what case do u have against them....?? based on what??

not really lah, if they are buying open cat coe from other car dealers and was asked to pay 5K. Then its up to the buyer if he/she wants to buy open cat from other car dealers. the SE will only be the middle man for this case.

the transfer count in the electronic card will be 1 instead of 0
