Anyone waiting for 20.1.2010 COE bidding?

Just wanna find out how many ppl waiting for the 20th's bidding.... I'm still waiting for the result before I can get mine. So sad and long wait. Dun even know if I can get the COE.

Normally how long does it take to collect car after COE successfully secured? I'm getting a black 1.6SX(A)!

If the vehicle you book has stock, your SE should contact you very soon after you secure your COE(maybe 1-2days) to settle your sales agreement and all the paper work. After that, they wil registered your vehicle and normally 2-3 days later you can collect your vehicle.

So I say it takes roughly about 1-2weeks for processing after you secure your COE.

However, if the vehicle you booked has not stock, then happy waiting.

Wah..... Thanks for ur reply! Hopefully got stock lah, coz that time my SE said that they have ready stocks for many colours. I think they juz got their new shipment.

No prob and welcome. Many colour not necessary means got your colour. You might want to check with your SE, he/she will be able to advise you better. =)

my coe was secured on the 6th....14th do paper work....today collect car....use this as a rough gauge bah...dunno fast or slow

Haha, ppl , all the best!! Still remember how i felt during my COE bidding in Dec 09. VW POlo just out in market then, super hot sale, was quite worried there will be too many competitors for COE. Thankfully got it on 1st go.
Would say Kia normally will place a reasonable bid amt to get the bid. ALl the best~

That's quite true. I gotten mine at 1st try too. But that time the COE went down slightly. Hopefully this time round one everyone HUAT AH!

Erm, nv call doesn't mean no hope. It just means that he/she is busy. I called my SE to confirm wif him.

Why is it with higher COE of 20k means HUAT? Anyone care to explain?

Higher COE, more paper value when de-registering the car (more cash rebate).

No need. It depends on ur agreement with ur SE. Mine was a promotion, so the price was fixed. My SE said that the bid price is fixed by C&C, so their threshold is, for example, between 19 - 21000.

1) Anything above that amt means that the COE bid is a failure.

2) Anything between that amt is considered successful bid and no top up is needed.

3) Anything below that amt, they will not rebate u, until a certain minimum threshold, then they will start to give u rebate base on the difference of the minimum threshold and the low COE price below their minimum threshold.

Base on my knowledge and explaination from my SE who is very nice and helpful, despite his commission for this promotion is very low. Lol

I got questions:

C&c will go for 6 biddings....suay suay all 6 bids
fail then how?
Book again at a higher price?
I wouldn't want to pay extra 2k for confirm Coe.

C&C will go for 6 bidding. In the very unfortunate case where all 6 biddings failed. They will return u ur booking fee with no conditions, that means u will have to rebid again or buy another different car from a different dealer.

The 2k is only upon agreement between u and C&C that u will be guaranteed ur COE when u initially booked the vehicle.

Woh... COE crossed the $20K mark liao.... C & C surely going to up the price of Forte again.....

I also just signed the final paper , i heard the number plate for now all start with 4XXX .hopefully can collect the car this week.

quite accurate i would say, though my se told me this system is always faster but i dont believe.

Those who got their COE on last week should be able to collect their ride by this week or next monday cos c&c will register all before month end.

Hi all, I booked my 1.6 SX(A) on 11 Jan, secured COE on 20 Jan, pay the rest of downpayment, insurance and first month installment on 23 Jan. SE mentioned that i will be collecting my spicy red on 30 Jan.

Is this consider fast?
