C&C servicing

do we need to go to Leng Kee C&C for 1k and 5k servicing?
possible we go to those SHELL station for servicing which is approve and open by C&C??
bcoz i rmb my frd Lancer when to a SHELL station near AMK for servicing, which is under C&C.

i thiink u mean along shell upper thomson rd ...its their satelite service station...

so we are able to go there for servicing?

Hi Bro Forte. Going for my 1k servicing tomolo. Heard got Oslim Massage chair , coffee/tea and snacks for you while you wait for yr car to be serviced. I also heard from my dad who services his Kia Magnetis Premier taxi that some of the mechanics are china man. So bros who go servicing, pls take out yr valuables as C N C will not be reponsible for any valuables lost during the servicing, .

Had my ride for about 2 weeks plus already and today goin for my 1st 1k svc...i jus realise that KIA svc is based on every 5k instead of the usual 10k...meaning we goin to spend more for svc for these 3years to keep our warranty valid?at which svc do we consider major svc?cos i remb my SE told me during the major svc jus when u drive in for major svc but dun replace anything jus ask them do the necessary check..go outside change ourself(cheaper tis way) and also can kip our warranty valid..

Im now at C&C pandan gardens while waiting for my car 1st svc..i saw on their brochure they have different menus (A, B, C & D)..A(30k,50k,70k,90k)..B(15K,25K,35K etc)...C(20k,60k,100k)..D(40K,80K,120K)..mayb later will ask the svc man..jus curious abt all these svc schedules..and puzzled too...

In US 1st servicing is at 7500 MILES!!!! Why we all so KIASU?

thats y foreign countries love to import spore veh.

but anyway, after 1st 2 svc which is 1k and 5k, i will be going my own garage for svc. much more cheaper and i can use better engine oil. however warranty wise it will be doubtful

Ya. Maybe I should try it. But I won't be posting the results.

40K, 80K, 120K are major servicing, will change auto or manual gear box oil every 40K. 20K, 60K, 100K are important servicing where they will check and tune, tightening bolts and nuts. 10k, 30K, 50K, 70K or 15K, 35K, 55K are normal servicing which can be done easily outside, warranty issue depend how touch is your stand and how you twist their arm......

i might want to change gear box oil earlier, jazz also 40k change then got problem, after that honda realise that 40k change to late, they change to 20k.

i abit kia su lah...

im gonna flush my atf oil at 5k

maybe the first few km i will change it, coz dunno how long they left the oil there

SInce the 1st 1k has to be brought to the workshop, can ask them to change for us as well? or will they do so without us telling them?

Can. I asked the service guy there. But he said there'll be a service charge if you bring in your own engine oil to change...

Look into the CnC folder given to u when u collect yr car...all the checks for various servicing phases are stated clearly in one of the service booklet...

Can any kind bros and sis pls tell me is it the map shown right location to collect the car..Thanks in advance

Is it normal for the following:

I will be leaving my car for servicing and knocking sound repair in the Lengkee workshop on wed ard 7.30pm and will be collecting it on thur ard 7.30pm... thats what the service customer officer recommended as they will need more time for repairs.... (my car is OPC)

So I just need to handover my keys and car to the security guard after filling in some yellow form.... is it safe to the leave the car like this?

No, remove all the belongings. The security guard think im not sure, maybe call SE to check if that is the common practice ?

how long does 1k servicing usually take?

1k takes about 3hrs to half day...including queue. They usually will ask u to collect around 1-2pm if u sent it in at 8am.

im going for 1K servicing plus dignostic for my suspension.. and re-wrap and front passenger seat!

all owners pls alert, look at our leather seats properly, bcoz my passenger seat they use 1 material at 1 side, the other material at the other side!

the knocking sound really sucks big time...
every morning go over the first hump always v loud
like suspension gonna fly out~

After replacing the dampers, the ride seem to be less stiff as compared to before and definitely crossing over humps with whatever speed cannot hear any slight sound....even mine initially doesn't kana the knock sound, it still has a very soft faint sound when crossing over certain hump at certain speed..but now it's really silent....

well whatever problem it is.. so long not the windscreen crack will do... it so dangerous if you happen to be at JB or some highway and it crack and if it crack so serious you can't even see how...

haha..obviously the lady bullshxting u...I did my 1k servicing plus steering squeaking sound and they even can slot in replacement of damper on a Sat morning, send in my ride by 0830am, got my ride back by 1100am....

The lady is not wrong, there are other people doing servicing or getting their ride probem rectified. So to say maybe need whole day is not wrong.
