When the Bodykits for FORTE coming out?

I saw the bright silver cerato with bodykit and it really look nice.. ( not ah pek car) It look abit different with and without the bodykit, on the front.

Now I am stress over which color to choose:

Light Graphite
Dark Cherry
Black
Dark Blue
Bright Silver..

Which one is more sporty if include bodykit??

if its cost $2k to instal bk for dos who oready booked, its not worth man... how come ur SE quote $2k while some SE says $1k???

no need stress la bout e colour.. juz go with ur heart or look at poll thread for reference

I dont know why she told me 2k though.. and other SE said 1k.. in that case, have to look for those SE who quoted 1k.., maybe if a group request for bodykit, can get group discount...haha

haha, I am fickle minded, very difficult to choose one color, especially when a few forte colours not bad..

if u not in a hurry maybe u can wait for e bros here to do MO for e bk.. colour wise take ur time to choose but not too if not end up like me... car colour no stock so car ETA in Jun/July

Some times help from others opinion will help conclude your final decision

Black if you are those who goes for sporty type.
Blue/dark cherry/orange/light graphic are those who wants something different other then the primary colours.
Metal bronze/Titantium silver are those who wants something silver but not the normal bright silver.
Bright Silver are for those who are lazy and ain afraid that the dirt is prominent.
White are for those who thinks Forte looks like Lexus
Champage Gold are for age 40 and above
Spicy Red are for those they think it look chio and fierce on Forte

These are just my survey gather so far to conclude the above Others may have many many more opinions which different ppl have different colours of mind set.

i m not sure where is your car now.. maybe its at south china sea..but does it take so long for the ship to arrive Singapore port from korea?? 1 month?? maybe the sailors took 1 month break on another island before coming to Singapore..

but my fren told me he happen to saw a shipment of forte sitting at a wharf. pending clearance, collection or delivery for e earlier batch maybe...

I guess shipping the cars is not a problem as long as kimchi island did not delay. How the problem part always lies on Singapore loh, everything every procedure have to go through authority before clearance and this wasted alot of time.

Anyway, I just called HOS up. Full bodykit for Forte going at
$1250 with spoiler. Gave them my email and pics of the bodykit will be
emailed to me if they have it.

the "ducktail" spoiler looks soso but in high speed, still got use.

hmm.. Forte's backside quite high and rear view also smaller field of vision.
If the spolier is a bit higher, cars behind might not see your brake brake light, so the spolier will need to install with brake lights. If the spolier is higher somemore, it may block your rearview.

True, since its not a sports car like those fierce looking Type R/Wrx/Evo, the spoiler can keep low or stick on top aka ducktail

Just curious.. those who had opt for the bodykit, will the car have any markings or holes left behind from the existing panels if we choose to removed in future?

Depends on how the kit is fitted on, if riveting or sealant are involved, there'll definately be marks left to be patched.

i think come with stock bolts n nuts to mount on. should not have any probs with marking or what since its a sub from C&C

For me, put kit means must lower car liao...tat'll include rims n tyres as well, then to match those..comes the interior gizmos.....then it'll defeat the purpose of sticking to the budget of getting the forte in the first place. /bow to CFO.

Maybe what tish meant is mounting the bodykit using the original mounting bolts nuts from current body. Well, for getting the BK its quite subjective as maybe if you need to top up $1k for the kit you may want to reconsider..but for those whose price has already included in it and if you do not want the body kit you still lose $500..why not just take the kit...so its own preference.

Qns:How's the installation of the bk like? drill on it or attached it on with adhesive?

Ans: Installation is using 3m tape with adhesive and brackets for skirting. Spoiler need to drill and using 3M tapes as well.

I dunno.. this is the question i posed in other forum and get from the person who design this bk... but when i went to see the bk myself... I see rivets and silicon sealing only..

eeehh.. i oso agree tt some MSCP slopes are beary steep.. esp the one near my sis-in-law's house.. if i install bk, sure kenna if i drive fast down the slope.. and got one entrance/exit of the same MSCP tt nids to do a stupid S-curve in order to go in and out of the carpark.. whoever designed that entrance/exit is a real plain dumb designer whom i bet is not a driver.. if that designer is a driver, i think something is not right abt the driving test system tt can allow a pass to that fella oso..

Juz the entrance slope a bit steep. Early morning blur blur, chiong down that slope and then *crack* ..I sure sian 1/2.
But should be ok lah, some of the other cars got BK on also.....only saw one WRX got deform body...but that's on the bonnet heh.

The side skirting defintely bolted. Cos can see the shiny shiny bolt heads at the wheel arc area on the the showroom car in Leng Kee. Not sure if they will spray or paint the bolt head to body color when they install on your car. But then again, showroom cars are only for posing..

Alot of differ from show rooms n actual. EG, u wont see the word FORTE from the showrooms.

I still believe like what u said, the parts are being bolted in, maybe they cover the gaps with silicon and use tapes to restrict movements from vibrations....

juz finished the 1st servicing @ lengkee.. aiyo.. reached there @ 10am, finished @ 3pm.. nearly rot there.. I saw the bk on the blue and noticed tt they sorta used the silicon to seal the bk to the body.. looks rather awful but impression changed after looking @ the metal bronze.. quite nice.. but hor, my SE told me tt the bk is ard $1.5k wor.. if he can get discounts for me, den i'll consider doing liao.. otherwise doesn't seemed quite worth it?

If u buy a new car n dont want BK, less 500. If u buy bk 1.2k

U have to decide on ur own. Maybe wait for replicas n compare the look n price....

Adding on a after market BK is not void of waranty.

I will definitely get the BK as well...

After market BK does not void warranty only for kia or all cars? I believe some models does void warranty if install within the period.

Addons doesnt void as far as i know. Modification to engine/wheels all these are consider void. But maybe its better to confirm with SE? If they tell u void, but when u send to workshop they ignore also dunno how.

Anyway Installing BK will void which part of car? Maybe the undercarriage parts where the BK is fitted onto ?

But wait too long scarlee C&C BK price go up? Then aftermarket BK looks ugly? Aftermarket fit 1 week drop or car body crack? Or they didnt calculate properly advantage for high speed?

agreed wif ur bro,,,, i juz wanna save e trouble n willing to take e risk, if anything goes wrong wif e bk... ill definitely go back to C&C n trash things out wif them.

another thing since i paying extra for e bk while new buyer get it foc wif e same price im paying for my car, i try to squeeze my SE for more freebies but cannot get lei... onli manage to ask for 2 kia umbrella can say im abit ngiau
