which grade for which type of engine?

after how much mileage then can start to use synthetic oil? and which grade AD give?

bro, mineral oil nmind which grade it is, its only for run in and not for performance. But if u go for 1 K servicing, u can choose which grade u wan for the full Syn! Pay according to what u choose loh, ask them for Local whether, which grade is suitable. Very Happy

Yes, better grade of engine oil protects your engine and run smoothly in the long run and also better perfomance. Try go for synethic but it will cost abit higher.

for your 1k service , C&C uses Shell Mineral 5W40 as stated in their invoice.Even in synthetic ,5W40 is the standard in most workshops. The last 2 digits is more important in our climate.Jus tahan until 10K service to change to synthetic since the 1K & 5K service price is quite reasonable. They'll chop u from 5K onwards cos the price for Mineral is $43 for 3l + $5.43 for 0.5l cos our 1.6 requires 3.5l, wait till the work out the cos for their Syn. If only we could bring our own oil Sad
