Guys,

I would like to know whether the Cerato 1.6cc engine same as Spectra 5 1.6cc engine, Gamma 1.6cc?

Sorry, KIA has not launched the CErato in Malaysia. I just want to have a clear statement from KIA Cerato Spore owner, coz the Saleman here say it same engine. I thought the Cerato comes with new engine.

i think the older spectra uses the Gamma 1 while the forte uses the Gamma 2

I read that the 1.6 litre engine in the Forte is the same as the old 1.6 litre engine in the Cerato V2, just tuned to produce higher horsepower.

The new engine is actually the 2.0 litre variant.
