ya i guess so too Leo... i was also ask to pay early but i told my se that i can onli be avaliable to go down on mon..guess they are either closing the final yr thingy or to meet this yr target...anyway since u have already sign n done up the paper work i guess now it time for u to get your ride soon.... enjoy... cheers^^

its not closing account for the year. more like mid-year account.

It depends when is your car registered if I'm not wrong. Now at this point of time, that range of number is available.

mightymeow: i think what it means is that at this time, the allocation numbers are from xxxx to yyyy. it will depends how many vehicles are registering today. yyyy may be allocated within half an hour, but it may also be allocated 2 - 3 hours later. It really depends, thus, it is not predictable.

Oh, actually u can register on the date u collect itself. But do it in the morning or so lah. In case ur SE suddenly say busy or what then postphone, then u lugi 1 day or something.

But please remember to print the HDB thing out if u register season parking online.

Has anyone wondered why they take so long to deliver the car after registering? By estimation, it takes about 10 days for delivery from date of registration, including weekends. And in the meantime, we incur the running cost while the car is still in their hands?

When the car is registered, instalment, insurance and road tax have all started running. So what happens if some mishap occurs during this period? They will claim our insurance?

Actually mine is registered on 18th June.
I got car on the 20th June. Only 2 days diff. But if you have lots of freebies, esp those which need to install like solar film and PPS, it will take another one day. No choice one.

For me, I choose to take my car earlier without all the freebies, instead i go do it myself.

Anyway amerimacka if i'm not wrong there will be a rebate if you are not buying your season parking at the starting of the mth...so i think mayb it's better to buy it 1 to 2 days before you are about to collect your car like that your rebate will be more i guess... ( if i'm not wrong )

Funny thing is, SE told me car still in port, but they are sending the car for LTA inspection and then registering the car. Wouldn't that mean they are registering the car first, then fit the locally fitted items, like folding mirror, leather seats, etc, which are part of the standard package after registering the car? Shouldn't they fit the locally fitted items before registering the car?

How many others have to wait for 7-10 days for their car to be delivered after registration?

Even if your freebie is solar film only, it will take 1/2 a day to one day to do it.
Since the owner of car not there to see the solar film installation, my guess is the shop will take their time abit, probably end up 1 day liao.

Next, there is the locally installed auto fold mirror (I bear in mind that most ordered in this batch is from May order), which adds up another 1/2 day or so.

The below is breakdown for my case:

Day 1 Saturday I make payment.

Day 2 Sunday, cannot do anything

Day 3 Monday, they bank in check

Day 4 Tuesday then bank manage to clear the check. Usually by time bank clear check, already 2 plus 3 liao.

Day 5 Wed, get clearance from CnC then SE can go do paper work with LTA

Day 6 Thurday, LTA take their own sweeeee time, cos government agencies, they less pressure to hurry."REGISTER" by end of day or next day. Actually i just found out mine only registered as of Friday not 18th June.

Day 7, Friday before that I kept calling my SE, say have to wait for the list to be reliease. SE ask me want to wait for installation? I said no, weekend liao have to wait till Tues I think cos only monday they can install the stuff.

Day 8, I got my car.

So by right if I got my installation by them, it will take up the 10 days or so lor.

Technically there is how the 10 dyas or so go. dun think they will cheat ur few days lah. They want to hurry up clear ur stock too, it will take up their space also mah.

I lugi only 1 day niah.

At least you got your COE.. which is the most impt part... cause alot of bro gatta stuck at the COE as May COE really go sky rock high...
