Oh manz....my SE super good lar....he automatically expediate my car collection from 6th July to TODAY!! Is this a good sign?! So happy and yet worried....

lolz.. not rule or law.. but the normal process.. cause once you get your plate number which mean the start of your loan, insurance, road tax etcs... so normally they will try to push the car out to you asap.

Obviously does not seem so for my case. My SE advised me 10 days. But then, have to wait till actual registration and collection to confirm.

10 days is more of on the point you make the reminding down payment... the 2 days is for when you get your plate number (apply to does who do not bid their plate number)

Think something very funny here.. once you got your plate number you are already registered to LTA... what other actual registration the SE is bullshitting...

It's not the registration. Like I mentioned earlier, normally, agents will fit the car before registration. In this case, they are fitting the car after registration.

Could be so that the bank will release the loan to them first (aka cash flow), or could be they are rushing to boost half yearly numbers.

My SE asked me if I wanna put the protection coat for my car...he said he got agent price@180bucks for 18mths warranty. Is this something like PPSCSII? Did you guys get it from KIA? Is it good?

Hi guys! just to inform tat i got my car yesterday! FINALLY!!

was driving it around yesterday and enjoyed it.. can't really confirm tat mine got the knocking sound yet but everything so far so gd.. still letting the engine to run-in naturally but i tried most of the features.. sportstronics (down gear.. push pedal and saw the rpm shooting toward 4k so gotto let go), cruise control (set to 70kmp inside KPE and no worries abt speeding Razz

) and even heaven also help me to test more by giving me rain.. so try wiper function (function almost similar to my previous picanto), headlights (dun like auto mode leh.. ), power rear mirror @ night (forget wat u call tat but it works!).. gadgets r nice.. ipod connection (still studying how to choose songs etc) and bluetooth connection (no worries abt phone ringing while driving liao)
as im still running in.. didn't try the performance of the engine and brakes yet.. Razz

anyway hope u guys get ur car soon!!

gravin, if u wan ur car fast, juz call ur SE. tell him y u see others getting their car, but y not u. n oso let him know u have oredi started paying for the depreciation of the car, get him expedite it out for u. no harm. might juz get de job done.

I did the same too. Dun worry, it shouldn't annoy ur SE.
As long as ur car got plate and registered already, you can start the pressure bit.

within 2 days should get usually after register.
