Collecting car in 7th month

I've seen a few of our bros mentioning about collecting car in the 7th month.

A few bros even delayed collection after payment until after 7th month is over.

I believe in 7th month but I also believe the person can "protect" himself/herself against "them".

Any bros have any experience to share when u collected your car during the 7th month?
Advice/suggestions?

dun worry, car is new so no spirits living in the car.
unless its dubious second hand.

plain superstitious! don't worry, there are no "little brothers" as far as 7th month is concerned. You can collect your car as normal as other months.

er........not sure if MJ wants a ride in our Forte....

I'm one of them that decided opt to collect car after the 7th lunar month.
This after recieving overwhelming response from family cirlce.. get hantum left right..haha..

Settled the paperwork with my SE on Friday.
Have signed an undertaking letter that I will be collect the car on 19th September. SE will register my car last few days of August.

Was told can't register car in September (closer to collection date) as they are required to do it on the same month as much as possible. For LTA statistics, monthly sales etc..

The loan, 1st instalment & insurance will come into effect on the day the car is registered.

SE explained they will hold my stock instead of getting the next shipment as they can't guarrantee if there's same model/colour as mine for the next shipment.

Still OK for me. From booking till now already 5 months. What's a few more weeks? Furthermore I will not get plate no. 4XXXX series.

i decided to get my car when its out from LTA. althought i dun really wish to get during lunar 7th month but as my birthday is coming,i will take it as i buy a present for myself.therefore e day i get my car, i will go straight "fetch" my boss into my car and wash whole car with flower water

well.... juz to share if some bros are more "pang-tang"

1) after collecting yr ride, immed go Loyang Tua Pek Gong to pray & get some promegate leaf water to 'wash' yr lisence plate
(or just drive yr car go any temple go pray can liao)

2) 1st person to ride yr car to be an immediate family member.

3) not to collect car in 7th mth in the forst place.

anyway.... i'm not those superstitious person, BUT most prob i will go temple... just in case...

I'm a taoist myself but have not heard of 1 & 2 leh. Mayb its just one of those myths.
As for 3, i tink i will still collect as normal coz i think i didn't commit any serious bad deeds so i shld be safe from those things.

I would also be collecting during 7th month, probably go temple pray and wash car plate with pomelo leaf water like wat one of the bros said... haha

7th month... collect (拿车(hokkien) then(上车hokkien).. but i also collectting in within these few days.. hopefully before thursday can le...

if no choice then i will try to avoid e few days like first day, fifteen day to collect my car.

try putting talisman if dat can helps in scaring away dos "unwanted passengers".....

I requested my SE to get my car ready by this coming Wed. He will be registering the vehicle to get the number plate on tue. Hopefully, no hiccups!!! This thur is the 1st day of Lunar 7th month!!!

bro, must also ask wat time e hell gate opens, cos this is the most crucial part. i'm also free thinker, but thinking when i got my first car, without praying or using pomegranate leave to clean my license plate, my car no. has not been showing in the 4D list for 2 straight years & collect it before lunar 7 mth. but my new ride i will go my ah gong's hse, take the pomegranate leaves with water & splash the whole car + car plate. i also agree with bro melburn, i also nv do any bad deeds recently hehe so no scare the spirits all things u do must be answerable to yrself but no 1 else rmb

Can u imagine any prison anywhere has a open house each day a year for the prisoners to get out to have some fun and then EXPECT them to come back?

Lunar 15th July is one of the best day in Buddhist calendar. It's called 佛欢喜节！It is also filial piety day btw.
