Go tyre shop check blancing .

Hmmm personally tested to 150km/h on NSHW... I think its stable.. stock condition.
maybe many bro/sis here tested much better make / models.
the steering do firm up... as speed increase....
for NSHW.. those area with cross wind.. (with wind socks.. surface usually will use concrete surface...) not too sure for road grip / cheaper as mostly are elevated bridges.. and is really v.noisy...
but will look forward to add few bars for better handling... along the highway curve...

Was on the NSH and felt that the car is affected by cross wind, felt as if car "swerved" left or right momentarily... have to hold on to steering....
I seriously think the Forte is too high, definitely needs lowering......
Anyone experienced the same?
hmm... not to mine leh... i travelled at 160km at ECP at night... my whole car suddenly can felt it sink down at ard 140km to 160km... den my steering wheel stiffened... feels very stable and low... and oh ya... i opened my windows and lol my gf complained the wind was incredible

For me, when I drive above 120km/hr along SLE/BKE, I realise the steering wheel becomes quite stiff and quite tiring for me
Also sometimes it will sway towards left or right a little, don't know why?

I think u need muscles maybe. hehehehhe.

Re: How's your drive feeling at high speed??
Hahaha... Yeah, maybe I should start tightening up my biceps and triceps
But it should not get so stiff imagine it is so light when just exiting or entering car park.

Oh it's normal. When u're travelling at high speed, the steering will stifen. U just get the car izit? If so, u'll get use to it. No defects of your car whatsoever with the steering.

I've personally drove my 1.6 Forte till about 175-180km/h. At that kind of speed, the ride is still very stable.

his is auto (I think) SX.
you must see whether that stretch of road got strong or not. for example, when driving on the simpang pulai highway up to C.Highlands, mountain crosswinds can really sway my car left and right. but when it is clear, the car felt stable again.

So far I got no problem with reverse parking. Still haven't try out parallel park. Hope I don't hit somebody's car

Re: How's your drive feeling at high speed??
On my way back from KL during June, i clocked 196km/h on my GPS on NSH. Very stable but need steel balls to maintain for long distance.
Maintain 160km/h for at least 1hr +- cause no car on NSH at 3am on a monday. Mine's a 1.6EX Manual running on 225/40/R18

Re: How's your drive feeling at high speed??
1) As Kapitan bro mentioned, road surface in msia very different. Spore road surface one of the best ever. Thats why feels smoother driving here. Nothing to do with the speed.
2) Crosswinds and feeling like the car is swerving when pass by vehicles like lorry, is normal at high speeds. Camry or bigger cars also I have felt the same. With our Forte, I only felt it whilst I driving at about 160km/h. As long as you have a steady hold on the steering wheel, it should be fine.
3) I always keep a steady grip on the steering wheel no matter what. dun rely to much on the power steering especially on the highways. Road surface not even, or road not very straight etc. And Forte steering wheel very light already. Some of you might remember, when I first got the forte, I kinda complained that it was too light. Now used to it, drive the camry like driving lorry. Hahaha. This can be good or not depending on how you look at it.
4) ECP at 160km/h??? Wahhhh!!! Not bad. Havent tried. Definitely not in my forte. Sorry not a big fan of corners and bends. Hahaha!! :-) But then in the wee hours, got more room to play with. Dun have to keep to your lane rite?? :-)
5) Keigo, what you mean our stock tyres cannot drive more than 100km?? 100km distance or 100km/h?? I know for sure can drive above 100km/h!! Hahahaha!! :-)

huh what I say..
I only know for me whenever I cross the bridge... to free land.. I will drive like 140~60km/l lolz...
in SG the fastest is 120km/l only.. but mostly stick at 100~110km/l cause I dont want to lose my precious license.

Your previous license?? Now you have new license?? Huh?? Confused. :-)
Actually for our car, our optimal speed is 110km/h if I not mistaken. :-)

Yeah but then those cases, they lost their previous license, then now got new ones rite?? :-)
But keigo said he doesnt wanna lose his previous license?? Where got such thing?? You only have one license rite?? If you have more than one, means those previous ones kena suspended or revoked already. Hehehe!! :-)
One of my friend's 2 nights of drinking cost him about $21k!! Hahahaha!! His fine was like about $9k. Then he had to sell his car at a loss and top up of $12k!! Hahahaha!! :-) REvoked for 8 years!! :-)

90km/h steering wheel vibrate?? Sure boh??
You sure not bcos the road surface not smooth?? Or you in the way you stepping on the accelerator?? Or the amount you stepping on the accelerator is in between gears?? Hahaha!! The last one I dunno. Simply say only. :-)
But 90km/h shouldnt be a problem. I usually go at that speed!! :-)
Civiv depending on which one!! EG is the best!! Most stable!! :-)

Wahaaa.. speed topic become parking, license..then tank also in haaa..
but i like...
if at 90, steering vibrate and you remember hitting any big pot hole before then.. you rim must be dented liao...
if step on brake then vibrate, then to check your disc brake may have problem...
about comparing civic.. need to hear from more reference.. not the 1st time.. but happy to know of course! haaa...
