Knock sound going over hump

I been reading alot of comments on this topic...

Just curious if any of FOG members already driving their fortes experience this problem?

initially do hv this knocking sound.. but after some time, it's ok liao leh.. so i tot it could be due to the suspension?

So you mean that you don't hear tat sound anymore when u hump now?

I do hear it... but it really depends on the height of the hump... I think becoz I don't have problems wif those gental humps

Fortec.... haven't get car you read so much R U worried???? But juz to let you kw... No matter what problem is stated here, it might be isolated or problem juz for individual.... I still LOVE my FORTE.....

Yes, it seems like quite a number of owners are experiencing the knock sound while humping. Many have voice their concern in sgkia.

izzit?? uh oh.. maybe i was dreaming away instead.. tmr i'll take a short drive and den hear if got any knocking sound..

If this is a genuine design problem, they have to recall the cars right? But C&C seem like a D&D(Drag&Drag) company.

The knock sound is only heard when going over carpark humps at a certain speed. At slow (walking pace) speed, the car will go over the hump with no knock sound. 9/10 yours also have.........

might be due to hump hitting part of the chassis?

someone mentioned something like this in another forum and I tired out and it is very true...

"try driving over the hump at a slight angle, meaning one wheel will contact the hump first before the next.....you should hear it when the first wheel cross the hump...."

Anyone send in to 3rd party wkshop to verify?

e knocking sound only occur at certain humps...

i just went to pandan service centre to get e knocking sound chk.. e tech jack up my car do a fast chk n found nothing wrong.. he say even newly delivered car oso got tis prob, n its e characteristics of e suspension..

if tis knocking sound does not affect e car in any way then guess got to live wif it lor.. my old ride oso got tis prob when gng over hump n i hv live wif it for 4 yrs..

Ohh i had bring this issue to the mechcanic during my 1st servicing at C&C pandan which is about a month ago.
He said never hear people complain about it,but they did check and found out nothing.They ask me monitor and give feedback when i'm there for 2nd servicing..

me do hear some knocking sound today after running ard leh.. but then 2 areas tt i noticed..
1. After i released my brake pedal, there's a slight knock
2. Going over a steep hump, there's a knock-kind of sound coming from the back..

not sure if you all oso hear the knocking sound from the same areas? Will be asking the mechanics to check when i go for the next servicing coz it's not very often.. probably only two or three times tt i heard it..

mine,sound came from front...

my knocking sound comes when i go over steeper humps..

Wah...we were referring to mouting/suspesion.
if sound came from the side door plastic pocket,try remove all your barang barang and monitor to hear anymore sound.

aiyo.. my side door got nothing inside lor.. that's the prob leh.. wat i mean was that the knock sounded like dat and it came from the left side.. if all hear the sound which is quite similar, den prob it's the same kind of knocking sound tt we hv been discussing bah..

ok we have different topic. Dandeana one is her side door and the main one we toking about is actually the suspension.

We will help you find out the source of the sound tomolo meet-up. Most probably something must have come lose inside that's why you hear this sound.

Lol.. sound like we got a bunch of "doctors" examing the precious where the "heartbeat" sound coming from..

i emailed the korea place liao.

there's really a knocking sound. slight.

looks like more n more ppl having this knocking prob, could it be spare tyre compartment too loose??

i have the same problem. sounds like from left front side. Told C&C (Leng Kee) on 1st servicing, they said will check with Korea. will ask for resolution in next servicing.
