Hmmm..... went to fix knockin sound ONLY yesterday..... send in at about 10am but collect only around 5pm, technician say tat they have been very busy lately so waited very long..... so bros/sis..... If planning to send car down for servicing ar, please be prepare ta it will take longer then usual.....

I checked le... NOthing at all.. I still can't find the source. All i know is that the metal vibration sound is not from the cabin. Somewhere either boot or undercarriage... Sianz...

I experience a "Knock" sound when going over a high hump in my carpark. Is this what u r talking abt cowstalker? Sounds like it is coming from the boot....

Hi bro.... do you have strut bar? coz the strut bar used for our is not nicely fitted.... so sometimes there would be vibrating sound cming from it.....

sister who tell u this? if got vibrating sound from ur stut bar means ur strut bar is not properly installed!!!!! some nuts is losten dangerous leh!!!!!! better check it.. cos strut bar is made to be rigid lay should not have any sound. mine got no sound

Hmmm.... coz tat day we went to change hump knockin sound tat time complain about vibrating sound the technician there say the strut bar is hitting the top, becoz of the shape, so sometimes will have this vibrating sound.....

aiyo as usual the C&C technician will blame all after market parts except OEM... yes true that its touching the top plastic as this strut bar is made for avante not forte. but just dun make sense that the strut bar will vibrate and cos some sound cos the strut bar is tie down to ur suspension tower.

Went to change the absorber rubber today at CnC. No more KNOCK KNOCK already!!!! Very Happy

yup sent my car for servicing...and they also replace the rubber bushes..

my car's knocking sound is pretty loud, gona tell them when on 1k servicing. Seems to me that the rear also have knocking sound is that possible?

Ya possibe. i suggest you to go ubi service center if you can coz i did it there. and the stock jus arrive.

After change, noise is gone, but is your ride still the same stiffness as before? Mine becomes less stiff after changed. Used to be as stiff as an SUV.. Anyway, it's more comfy now Very Happy

I went to LK for my 5K services, and they have the damper stocks for my two front absorber. The ride is much better after the mod
much more comfortable. Quick ! call them and do it ASAP. Tell them one of the forum members did it.
