It's not true.
I got my chassis no. from my SE today. And we agreed to register my car only next week cos I want to collect my car next month (due to the 7th lunar month thing).

Bought 2nd hand, and also had to top up money to pay off the loan. But I was VERY surprised when the amount I paid off was MUCH lower than what I had anticipated. I guess they increased the body value amount for me. thumbsup

1. they must do "pre-registration" means must send vehicle to inspection to get vitas code.

2. vehicle passed inspection, "vitas" code sent to C&C

3. fill in registration form, send documents before 11am to reach LTA, then LTA will do necessary documentations & send back E documents to C&C by 3pm the same day, they shld have our car plate no. by now.

4. upon receive the the approved documents from LTA, which means u can see yr car plate either the same day 3pm onwards or next day by logging in to onemotoring website

SE just confirmed that I am on step 3 oso....... bounce

latest news was all the vitas code for 1.6 & 2.0 all ready. so now awaiting for admin to submit the documents to LTA for registration then get no. plate then get car.
