Wow.. If follow the procedure,
Stage 1 - 5 working days
Stage 2 - 3 working days to a week.

By the time C&C got the go ahead to register, it will be 8 to 13 working days.
So let's say the shipment arrived on the 11th Aug, C&C can only register 20th onwards.
No wonder I asked my SE by 20th can collect car or not, she said not possible.

aquariss, yrs i also dunno wat to say, but u must ask them, once registered they will start the 10 yrs COE or wat? u have to confirm with LTA, call them tmr to ask. v.important. if start count, then u must make some noise or ask for compensation (add some more things to yr ride).

Bro/Sis, I also received call from my SE that they encounter VITAS problem due to the recent upgrade/changes made to SX, in particular. Hence, the targetted collection this wed/thurs would be KIV for at least another week. I am not happy because I have already paid in full since 11 Aug...imagine I could make some bucks from 11 Aug to probably 20 Aug in the share market (e.g. 57K investment in the share market for a week...especially some of the counters were ideal to go in last tues, and potentially could make 1 to 3K now)....sigh....it is a case of "L#$ L@#". It is certainly a good lessons learnt for my part - as it is a case of recommendations from friends and trusted the "SE" to much. I shall elaborate more w.r.t "SE"... after I have collected the car.

its empty bros, but seriously, i think those cars that are registered have to ask for something as payback, cos u cannot drive for that few days, u have the reason to ask for compensation. they have no reasons to hold back the cars that have been registered. btw as for the air-con thingy, i think its crap, how can a car be sent out its factory without air-con???, maybe 20yrs ago, but now impossible. unless he say he connect wrong pipe, air-con become "hot-con" if not like that our forte is like 40% assembled in singapore & they might as well apply for fortes made-in singapore. thats whole lot of craps. lame excuses they give, y not that say the car comes w/o engine

no point lah.. i think its a load of crap, it's not C&C as an entity. its KIA. its bullcrap lah. I bought a lancer previously, never had such a problem. my uncle's got a merc, when he got it, in 2 weeks they delivered. there was a small stain on the car, the SE wiped it off with his hankie. POWER service. in Kia, you get KIAsu service. Take your money first, then fark care you. let you wait like they owe us money rather then the other way around. the stomp post not enough lah. i think we gotta bring this up to higher levels,
CASE is also rubbish, take my word for it. They are useless, i had an incident previously where i went to CASE and i got nothing out of it.

i say the best way to get a company or KIA in this case is to wack them hard where it hurts. They already have a shytty reputation as it is, damage that further. Sorry, i don't believe in letting everyone go and burning down an empty building.

Get the SEs too, if their own employees do not take responsibility, then nothing will take place. Give them pressure from bottom up, within their organization.

the service is beyond terrible, i think chery can give better service.
This will be my first and last KIA i'll ever buy. they may have a designer from Audi, but no audi service.

I'm not expecting top service cos I know i'm not paying top dollar, there is no such thing, but the bare minimum is not even provided.

This is not poor service, this is cheating. And a company that cheats should be punished by the customers, as that's where the revenue is.

wa my SE told me that VITAS code thingy last friday at 12pm... then till today also nothing.... i only trust my SE that my car is 80% done up since yesterday. the rest are craps..

hi tummified, getting the COE is the first step to assume that we can wait for our car. To get it with first bid is considered very good, regardless of amount, especially some brothers here even need to top up after 4 to 6 bids to secure their COE.

Not wise to go back to square 1 again. What if tomorrow the COE drops below 13k? more dui right?
