if yes, how much would they deduct?

what oil do they use for 1k and 5k ?

i dont think so. U can try to talk with the mech but i dont think they allow

Went to do my 1k servicing at Pandan Service Center today.

Report Problems
Boot cover not aligned properly with car body
Knock sound during humping
Request to adjust clutch free play

Sent in at 8am

Collect at 3plus

The usual 1k Service details done
Car washed, but due to ongoing construction in the service center CP, might as well don't wash haha.
Boot realigned properly.
Clutch free play adjusted (but can't really feel much diff...maybe smoke me)
Knock sound...supposingly oiled, went over 3 humps just now so far now sound....but still skeptical until more humping.

They don't allow you to use your own oil for the servicing.

Btw...all the Mit lancers got this c u no up look at the queues man...sianz. Except for this ang moh lady who came over and said forte is very nice, would have get it if it release earlier....that makes my day!

Yr boot cover not alight properly, u discover bcos cannot close properly? Maybe they inserted the dampers at the front suspension..if after few more days no more sound, that's mean CnC is doing something liao..

Btw, have u test drive the Mit EX? The engine sound funny and the way it drive, forte can put it to shame...u should look at them and ask do they still have the funny boating sound from the engie...

The boot can close properly juz not alligned properly.

Different cars have different characteristics, no comments haha...

As for the knocking, hmmm.... yeah like what u said...only time will tell.

During my first servicing, around 6 weeks back.
Just before i reach the service center , at the red light , there was one white cerato sjj on my right . As the light turns green , the cerato overtook me and reached the service center before me . He parked his car on the servicing lane and mine was to his right . The car include the driver , his wife and 2 kids . The moment they alight , their 2 kids ran over to my car and look in awe . After that , they walked away and a man came to my car and looked at my car , he later asked how much i brought the car for , i told him and he said it's cheap , unlike his mistubishi .

So hahaha .

those of u who already send their car for 1k service, how much do u guys pay for the oil?? is there any other charges beside the oil??

forgot about the cost of 1k service, but i think total cost is about $51++

Is inclusive of the normal 1k servicing....change oil, oil filter, washer, top up here n there, etc...

usually 20-30 for 1-10K sevicing...

think this amount is insignificant to them lor.
They should give free oil change at least for the first few servicing mah

BM doing that, 1st yr servicing bao kar liao....no need single cents...

After 1st yr Or Kar Liao...not a single cents to be miss..

but at least you save from your first year servicing right

I rather not bcos BM offer this with 5 yr warranty..meaning u have to service yr ride with them for 5 yrs and the charges are very high!!....servicing is a very very good milk cow for AD....
