In the past, i've been rotating between manual and auto cars. Drive manual and wished for an auto. Trade-in car and get an auto and later wished for a manual. And so it goes again and again.....

This time, decided to keep my auto car to deal wif the daily jams and a manual koup to play-play on weekends when the roads are smooth flowing.

nx time hope can be rich like you buy one auto and one manual..haha

now mainly i choose MT cause i feel the nx car maybe cater for family liao..and MPVs dont' usually come in MT...hehe

nope. gearknob looks and feels ok to me. what i may wanna do is the throttle controller to improve driveability and maybe a HUD for cheap thrill.

i think throttle controller only can be used by cars that have E-throttle...iirc, like in the civics FDs..

Koup 1.6 is drive by wire so can't use this electronic throttle.

drive by wire even easier, just shorten the wire can liao... been done a lot before there was even e-throttle...

Your post left me thinking for a while... if you excuse my sharing, drive-by-wire means electronic means of controlling a car and e-throttle should be a form of drive-by-wire. And since the Forte uses e-throttle, there is no wire that we can cut to shorten, don't hope to see some drama-like episode of a forumer driving with the brake wires cut...

cause they say not e-throttle mah, so i expect it to be some mechanical form of throttling... its either this or that, since they say not "this" then i expect them to know that its "that" lor... i didn't go search which is it we got...
