My brother installed this device on his 1500cc Jap car and it helps to improve mileage. Good FC means lower pick-up. The car rpm was slightly below 2500rpm when going at 110km/h.

His jap car is e-throttle control and ours is by cable.

Does anyone here know whether we can installed this device or any similar device to improve FC?

ur bro should hav installed another one, 3-Drive by Pivot, similar concept to this except tt's for e-throttle.

from the spec, i believe we should be able to install this, AT-Drive.. Any bro volunteered to be guinea pig already?? Pivot AT-DRIVE AT SHIFT CONTROLLER Icon_biggrin

Yes. E-Throttle has a electric servo in the engine bay to adjust the throttle valve of the engine. The accelator position is digitized to control the movement of the servo. This product helps to regulate the movement of servo digitally.

Since ours is cable and direct motion control by our foot. There is no way to allow this product to regulate the movement of throttle valve.

Just studied the SI from KIA, there is ETC for 2L version of forte. So you can try replace the parts for our forte to convert it into E-throttle.

so Anyone has already fitted the spring booster will it void the warrenty?Just ask my cousin who is repairing car at sim ming ave said it will reduce the lag respond better.But need to check will void.

Called McWell today and was informed that AT-drive is for those car with cable and PIVOT 3 drive throttle controller is meant for e-throttle car.

As such I was quoted 420 for Drive 3 with installation.

Isit worth doing it Pivot AT-DRIVE AT SHIFT CONTROLLER Icon_biggrin ? any comment is appreciated Pivot AT-DRIVE AT SHIFT CONTROLLER 332362

Hi,

Just found out that Pivot 3 drive and similar product( copy from Pivot technology) such as NTD, Shadow, ETC are mainly design for japan car so all the harness cable is not suitable for Korea car Pivot AT-DRIVE AT SHIFT CONTROLLER 316913 !

Speak to Sung Beng on these throttle devices. Apparently, they have something for the cable throttle cars, and the latest version has the same flat design concept as the Pivot flat 3-drive, except their product is called "Violence".
