Need Advice!

Hi all, I just collected my forte 5 days ago. I saw a forte with silver trimming (front and back lights). Thats is really beautiful. Can any bros here pls advice me where to get it fix up? I also feel the pick up of the car (mine is 1.6L auto) abit sluggish. Which item can I add to my car to make it better? First time car owner here. Please pardon my ignorance. Tks in advance.

i'd be surprised if you can improve engine performance without changing the whole engine...

Mmmm, maybe you never step hard enough on the gas.. I feel mine quite responsive..

bro, join us at e Nite MU... there u can see all kind, different kind of upgrade/mod done on forte... but dun blame me if u got infected wif all e poison n viruses...

- fuel additives are all fake, if you really want something that can give you 20% more power, pump diesel but be prepared for engine failure

- your car is not made to support turbo, adding an add on turbo package will also spoil your engine

- better engine oil, petrol, lubricant etc etc won't increase engine performance

- adding nos will also result in engine failure and is really expensive + dangerous


if i'm not wrong, the only way to improve performance would be to lighten your vehicle

This forum has one every month (if i'm not wrong). Haven't been to one myself, but planning to go for the next one.

Silver/Chrome trimming on tail lights can ask the forum users here. Some get it from ManCanDo.

Sluggish is due to other reasons, such as getting used to clutch biting point and tall 2nd gear for manual and not stepping hard enough to train the car's computer for auto/manual.

I faced the same problem but once i dont my 1k servicing. it improves alot.

I think its due to the run-in period ba. causing it to be not so responsive

Can i know what will they do during 1K servicing? I read abt run-in in the car manual. Still confused abt what it says cos such a short para on it. hehehe.

ps: mine is a 5 days old baby. ran abt 200km only

Seriously are they really so bad in car washing? worst than those ah neh who washes car with a pail or water every night?

I got deep scratch marks but don't know if it's by them.

Because weekdays i only drive Once for a night. On saturday while washing car i found long scratch from Left front headlight side right up to tail light.

something to add; adding voltage stabilizer, drop in filter, grounding, performance plugs, cyclone, air-charger aka gunigong, etc, wouldn't make yr ride perform better or save in FC...if one claimed so, it's only to justify the money already spent on such snakes product.....

can use sportstronic if you are in the auto mode.

paisay, its a statement. i used this function and the car suddenly become more powerful by dropping 1 gear.
