The final course of action is this.

Old man has agreed 1.5k final cost to settle everything. everything. indemnity form has been signed and i have paid him.

i have took back my car from cnc. bought a number plate from them for $50. next i will source for 3 things.

1. orginal bonnet.($250?)
2. orginal bumber. ($200?)
3. 1 x orginal left flood light(???).

i have found a workshop who transport these 3 items and fix them for me for under $100.

so my total cost for this accident is about $2200 for both party repair and $200 for TP. no claim from insurance. report only.

please give any commenst on my this course of action. nothing can be changed now, but i would really love to hear some comments.

so any bros with lobang to buy the 3 items please intro. bonnet, front bumper and left floodlight.

xie xie. thank u.

For myself, the rule of thumb is if the total cost is more than 2x my excess, I will claim insurance. Since now you are repairing your car out of your own pocket, why go for original parts? If can knock back, knock back. If can find refurbished parts, take them. Trust me, nowadays there are many workshops can do until swee swee and charge below $500. Only if you are expert or really particular, then you will know it has been knock back.

After you have repaired your car, move on and don't let this incident affect you.

I usually go to Ah Song at 1017 Yishun Industrial Park A #01-252 S'768759. Call him at 67537879. His quotation is cheap. I was introduced to a workshop during my last accident. Call Paul Ng at 98269394. It's NTUC authorised workshop. The name and address: Hup Hup Workshop Pte Ltd, 27-A, Jurong Port Road, #01-29, S'619101. His quotation is cheaper and repair time is faster than Ah Song. However, it's super inconvenient for me. Eventually I told Ah Song to match the price and I still do with Ah Song.
