My SE has given a quote of 385 for rust proofing and 280 for paint protection. Is it required ? and is worth to take or is it available cheaper somewhere else?

How come my SE never tell me about rust proofing or paint protection? I will be interested in rust proofing. My last ride is with rust proofing. Then every year I have to go back to them. When the warranty is over, I go to outside workshop, the mechanics told me Singapore no need rust proofing one. We don't live near the sea or our roads got many stones or pot holes that we may scratch our undercarriage. So he recommends me to go outside buy anti rust coat and he just spray my undercarriage. As for paint protection, I am against it. Exterior body doesn't belong to us. Someone may be just out of jealousy and scratch your car. So no point to pay so much for exterior. I always park my car nicely. My last ride also got scratches and dents. There's a BMW in my house car park. That uncle always head in and occupy 2 lots. His car is full of scratches with crosses, circles and lines as long as more than 1 meter.

very simple answer... rust proofing for the perfectionist which is not really needed for our local condition... as for paint protection, good to have for weekly maintenance (car wash) but the price offered is way too high... CS II is less than that even...
