Rattling sound from engine?

I drive a 1.6SX (A). It's been 2 months drive, and I could hear rattling sound (dunno if it's coming from engine) whenever driving on 1st gear. It's obvious when stop, then depress accelerator picking up speed gradually, sound appears as u pick up speed. It's even more obvious when driving uphill.

Anyone ever encounter this rattling sound?

call svc and get it checked fast....esp if from engine....

yea a breakdown on the expressway will ruin your week, no car to drive

+1, something not right.. sounds to me the tuning not properly done..

Do u feel vibration when u r stepping on brake while car is on idle, any vibration on acc. pedal? if yes, likely the engine mounting.....highlight to the svc centre and ask them to check engine mounting...

No vibration, when stepping brake or accelerator. So, can rule out disc brake uneven and tuning problem.
Also, don't think it's mounting problem bcos if it is, steering would've trembled at mere 90km/h speed (Super smooth at even 120km/h)

Happens only at 1st gear, but after 1st gear, no more rattling sound.

Should I send back to the same SC where I did my 1k servicing? I suppose I hv to leave the car with them whole day for troubleshooting purpose and I'm worried at the end of the day, they'll tell me nothing's wrong and milk me a few hundreds
