Nope... honestly... the surface is quite slipper.... and I feel it's going to be more slippery when wet...
But IMHO, it's good to have to "keep" the water / moisture in.... and not "kenna" the carpet which prob cannot be replaced...

The most obvious difference between the prev pict and the one I have is the red threads...

Re: Joe's Metal Bronze SX
Anyway... damage...
Flip key is from a GB here.
32 bucks
Duplicate the key...
20 bucks
Cover...
15 bucks.
Total... almost 70 bucks...
worth it??
Honestly...
If given another choice, I may not have chose to do it because of the price.
But that's only IMHO.
However, some of the rest of the bros here managed to save some money duplicating the key.
e.g.
some bros spent 3 bucks, some... like me... 20 bucks.

I think probably you get everything seperately and so it doesnt look too expensive initially. Just like 'zhng-ing' the car. Get abit here and there.........and in no time, it might have added up to 10s or tousands.
Anyway, i am also thinking of doing just the flip key because my leather pouch is spoilt. Sigh. Poor quality i guess. Now, the key keeps poking onto my thighs once in a while and it really hurts.

Re: Joe's Metal Bronze SX
for me its 32 for flip key + 15 to dup hyundai key.. total 47 but no regrets cos i like the flip key more than the original one due to its compactness and it doesn't knock around when u cross over hump.. my fren driving subaru oso said my flip key very nice.. he thot it comes with the car but i told him it GB n diy one..
as for the pouch its more like an accessory lor.. but looks good lah.. and serve like a protection to ur flippy too

No la...
It's only a GT 2.0 Avalanche.
Most of the parts upgraded to Shimano XT.
Why you interested? I'm planning sell this to change to a road bike.
A Colnago with Shimano 105.
Maybe this one?

Wow.. you are real pro. Actually, I'm only looking for those light and foldable ones that can load into the boot Any idea where to get them? I found a few in Carrefour and Giant but they are still cumbersome after folding and very heavy too. I've ever seen on tv news of a man carrying a foldable bike and he hopped into the MRT. That was the kind I'm looking for

cheap and prevent the possibilities/risk of driving into mscp without removing.
any reason why you get this bike "saris" brand"? and which shop has got a lot of varieties to review? you mind?
1. It has a great resale value.
*See some of the bike forums and see what I mean.
2. It's adjustable to fit most cars... even hatch backs...
*Even though of recent, most have designed the same but this was one of the first.
3. It folds to a small package.
4. Lighter than most...
*The reliable brands that is...
5. Life time warranty.
Once, the hook had some problem and that part was replaced... no problem.
6. If I am not wrong... it's made in USA.
7. I dropped it once from a 1.5m height... it's still ok.
*Some slight scratches though.
8. It looks cool.
Hope this helps.

Over the weekend... collect some of the poisons....
1. Door pockets...
IMHO, quite ugly... needs to be resprayed to blend in....
2. Window sill....
Damn nice if you ask me... very subtle, very classy look.
3. Fog lamp garnish...
A little bling for my liking.... does not shout "ME"... but not too bad still.

Door pockets
Before putting them into the slots.
But as mentioned... will prob need to paint them... the bright silver doesn't seem to match.

Do you think it's a little much??
Before...
After... 1 side to make a comparison...
Actually... I did a comparison by sticking blu tack on it first...
Now... both sides...
What do you think???
Anyway....
IMHO, I feel that this fog lamps may not look too hot for those who are going for the "sporty" look....
What do you think....
Anyway, Thanks Andzees!

Juz wanted to post something I posted in another thread on fuel consumption...
Not that long la...
100km+ drive 2 hrs including the causeway @ 2nd link?
For me no point getting an MPV cos most of the time, it's only 2 adults and 2 kids...
The 2 other adults were my parents.
2 kids as in 1 - 7 year old who sat in the back middle seat, 1 - 3 year old who sat on an adult's lap.
it
was a little uncomfortable for the lap of the person who my 3 year old
was sitting on... but other than that... my folks were pretty comfy on
that ride.
1 - car was smooth @ 130km/h average.
2 - air cond was cold enough
however... the pick up was horrendous... but understandable considering the total weight on the car.
*Aprox 350kgs total in the car...
kapitan wrote:joepele wrote:I guess that's dependent on the weight of what's in the car as well...
Mine is 8l / 100km.
4 adults, 2 kids. trunk full (Aprox 30-40kg)...
4
adults and two kids???/ u better drive a MPV... why squeeze so many for
the long drive... better take the lux bus.. more comfy..

Although it's a small town... it's starting to become quite developed...
But never the less... still have to be careful as it's supposed to be one of the more "developed" towns...
*With development.... comes the crime too...
Anyway... here's more info about the place.
http://www.travbuddy.com/travel-blogs/33239/Weekend-Kluang-Johore-Malaysia-1
Try the Dim Sum in the link... cheap and good.
This town is also rewound for their fragrant Hinanese Coffee.
The rail cafe is quite near the Dim Sum place.
But IMHO, the coffee in the Dim Sum place is not too bad as well...

so now, will just wait for the desaru highway to open.

i am a common visitor to kluang. you might want to try climbing the gunung tampak mountain. it has just been promoted to a city from a town.
a word of caution, when you are in kluang's city centre, the people there drive like lunatics, especially the crazy roundabouts. just be careful.
