If I'm the marketing guy, I'll would say:
The new Forte Bodykit comes complete with black, crisp detailings that accentuates the snazzy curves that exemplify a strong and stylish semblance!

Re: Ti§h & bLuRz's White
Actually the black line makes the kit look alittle too big for the car in picture like not fitting.
Now i worry liao. Mine also white and also bought the BK.... Maybe other colour wont see the black thing so obvious....

Re: Ti§h & bLuRz's White

Think it is extremely obvious for white cars. The rest will not be that obvious. But spraying over also not long term as the paint and rubber may not stick especially under sun. From the pic of the blue car in the showroom, looks like no rubber lining. Maybe they changed the way they install the BK.

Re: Ti§h & bLuRz's White
No DO NOT spray over rubber, as rubber tend to flex, and after flexing, the paint will crack and drop off. and you can see patches of your rubber expose beneath the paint coating

PM divine already see what's the solution. No way i am making my white white BK add a mustache.

yes? i heard my name? lolx yes like wat siaoster said do not spray over it.. it will crack over time.. anyway the rubber sux u can see that the rubber will peel off over time... and become very ugly..
actually u can just pull out the rubber no issue 1 even if u dun pull anything

maybe you wana explain to the rest how it was fixed on ? think a lot of pple had the misconcept that the rubber lining is acting like a adhesive surface to stick to the car body but actuallly its not

Usually such things are used more of to prevent water seeping.

I told the body kit guy to take his time to replace for me, yes he promise to change a body kit for me. But it looks like this date is over due liao, when i come back form japan then i call him again.
As for the black lining, after a while, its really not very obvious and infact, it matches with the lines where the bonnet cover gap is, including the doors gaps for the skirting. The whole car has black gaps so the black lining with the bodykit is really not so obiang ....

hi, Bro, Tish..
Nice to me.. but thinking if it add a lot of weight?
for the rubber i think it must be there for a reason, water slippage can be serious... to the connection part..

nah BK are normally made of fibre glass ? its not as heavy as you think.
unless you plan to use ur forte to clock track timings, if not that bit of weight will not affect much of your FC

erm let me correct.. our BK is not fiber glass but ABS! anyway the rubber is not to prevent water from slipping in.. its to prevent dirt, sand , leaf from going inside then ur car become heavier and heavier lolx.. anyway the rubber no use 1 after 6 mths u see wat happen loh lolx

you mean its made of ABS plastic ?
Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) (chemical formula (C8H8· C4H6·C3H3N)n) is a common thermoplastic used to make light, rigid, molded products such as piping (for example plastic pressure pipe systems), musical instruments (most notably recorders and plastic clarinets), golf club heads (used for its good shock absorbance), automotive body parts, wheel covers, enclosures, protective headgear, buffer edging for furniture and joinery panels, Thule boxes, airsoft BBs and toys, including Lego bricks[1]. ABS plastic ground down to an average diameter of less than 1 micrometer is used as the colorant in some tattoo inks. Tattoo inks that use ABS are extremely vivid. This vividness is the most obvious indicator that the ink contains ABS, as tattoo inks rarely list their ingredients.[2]
It is a copolymer made by polymerizing styrene and acrylonitrile in the presence of polybutadiene. The proportions can vary from 15 to 35% acrylonitrile, 5 to 30% butadiene and 40 to 60% styrene. The result is a long chain of polybutadiene criss-crossed with shorter chains of poly(styrene-co-acrylonitrile). The nitrile groups from neighboring chains, being polar, attract each other and bind the chains together, making ABS stronger than pure polystyrene. The styrene gives the plastic a shiny, impervious surface. The butadiene, a rubbery substance, provides resilience even at low temperatures. For the majority of applications, ABS can be used between −25 and 60 °C as its mechanical properties vary with temperature. The properties are created by rubber toughening, where fine particles of elastomer are distributed throughout the rigid matrix.

Re: Ti§h & bLuRz's White
yes.. the one in showroom is fiber glass.. due to LTA not approving fiber glass that why there is a delay in shipping of the new ABS material BK.. well dun flame me i only got this info from a reliable source

Re: Ti§h & bLuRz's White
I was told the ABS has a little mixture of PU, my friend bend and told me, he cannot be sure. Anyway small issue, The black rubber lining is there to prevent abrasion of the bodykit and car surface.
ABS is light also but i dont know how light

bro i dun think its prevent abrasion.. do u see that ur bk has a BIG gap between bk and ur car.. its to prevent it looking ugly and leaf/sand/stone from going into the gap.. the bk is firmly secure onto the car using windscr gum

Btw, when they install the BK, they have to take out your car plate. But how about the front plate garnish?
