Alot of ways to maintain the car wor.. I only use a simple way.

Some people go for paint protection first like CSII, System 6, etc etc.

Some DIY using claybar and later wash n apply their own sealant n polish

People like me only wash car with normal car wash shampoo, then mix some "HI-GLAZE 88" into a bucket of water and dip drying cloth into the mixture n wipe car 2 times... 1 for apply the mixture, 1 for drying.

ya both tish and greatgazoo are right... i'm asking the ways how tish maintain and wash/polish the car as well as how to which type of gd stuff are advise to maintain the color shines thru out the few yrs...

Anyway, i have found a slight small scratch line on my white pain near to the head light area...

does any 1 knows is there anything C&C can do about it when i go for my 1k service? (btw the scratch is not done by me... therefore i wonder can it be done to repolish that area...)

if the scratch is not noticeable, u might want to consider polish a bit n leave it.

There is another way, buy the touch paint from C&C at $8+ per nail polish bottle n touch up urself, but u might see a repair/repaint mark ...

Actually if it is not obvious, i would leave it alone... or u can tell C&C it was there after u collect car... see what they can do about it

hmm... guess i will just tell them about it and see what they can help on that ba...i din notice that till i start to clean my car using a cloth area the head light area then i saw it...

In mysia, i usually pump caltex 97, if there is no caltex then petronas 97 and last choice is shell 97. Vpower is cheap, but i dont like for personal reasons.

SG is caltex 98 or mobil 98, coz these are the 2 i got higher discount for them.

fuel can mix any how u like, its the when u drive u feel some diff here n there only. I think its ok

spend more save more !! heee

but if pure petrol hor... unless your tank is 3/4 empty la...

then you pump up full and overflow.... which will cost you let say in SG is about $100 for VPower...

Then in Malaysia... it cost you SGD43 (VPower) + SGD 10 (custom) + SGD $5 (toll) = $58

So total you still save around half the cost...

So 1 week go in pump once... 1 month you save about $200....1 year you save $2400

oic ... i haven go in jb to pump b4 yet...some more need to have at least 3/4 or fuel dan can go in by dan juz pump 1/4 not much also as what siaoster says go in for a purpose like buy stuff or what dan from there pump dan i htink its worth it ba...other than that i dun think i will go in i guess hee hee...

best of all, sunday nites is when all the singaporeans come back, so the petrol kiosk consist of high percentage of singaporean cars

i dun like to go in from the 2nd link cos i stay jurong..woodlands seems better and 2nd link nid to pay for double toll..den have to go one big round b4 u can go back to the JB shopping area...

If i go by 2nd link i will go in with at least 1/2 tank empty, i took a small risk but for me i think they can let go for 1/2 tank. I wont go 2nd link just to pump coz first toll is RM$10.8, i sure go in to eat something one lol

If from woodlands 3/4 full i dont mind, but i will still go in with a risk of 1/2 tank. he toll fee alot lesser so even if dont eat, i'm ok to just pump n come back.

I also like 2nd link but for cars its very ex wor!! Unless i go in to eat with frends or track, else i wont go by 2nd link. 1st link i'm also familar, use to ride around with small bike so can find my way around too. There are actually quite some places to makan around 1st link too and there are safer petrol station. there is a shell petrol station very near the first link custom, once u go in mysia can pump and make uturn go back SG lol.

Tish: has been wanting to ask u... how do u remove the letterings at the boot? want to remove the "2.0" due to its wierd sizing compared to the current models...

i use my fingers to slowly pry them out, when i come to those damn sticky one, i just drop a few drops of zippo fluid, i did it before i wash my car

these days they hardy check ur fuel tank balance....
when in on friday with 1block of fuel left before "E" ...

i always go in with different fuel balance in the car..

if can i go in 3/4 or 1/2 tank lor....

lol... it isnt really that bright, just that the shutter was expose slight longer due to an old digital camera in no flash mode.

u need to put a safety sign with sunglass on when opening the boot !
