Finally got my horns fitted up, nocash was there to accompany me all the way, thanks bro! almost 2-3 hours i think lol... I own u alot leh hehe

After removing the grills n emblem, then i look beyond the emblem, and decide to put it back immediately!! lol

yo... finally manage to remove it... do the samething as nocash say....pull and pull

wah cannot pull n pull lah lol i removed 8 screws and end up alot of abrasion on my both arms... need someone massage n rub rub leh hehe

Steady lah Tish, going to DIY horn..just take note of the wiring hor, don't cut the wrong wire, best to have a tester on standby....have fun with the DIY...

Hi Tish, i'm new here...i saw in other thread knowing that you have a check list to check on your white forte when u collect it... erm.. mind sharing it with me?? As i'm getting a white forte too and currently still waiting for stock to arrive..so thinking of using your check list as a guide to do a check when my car are ready for collection..

A quick one for u when at the collection centre:

1. Go around the whole car, check for all alignments, gaps between the bumpers and car body, boot alignment, etc
2. Check and feel the paint work, for new ride it should be smooth when u run your palm over it
3. Check all doors function and boot release (internally and using remote)
4. Check windows up n down (provided there isn't any stickers over the controller telling u to leave it for 48 hrs due to application of sun films)
5. Start the engine, leave it running
6. Check all interior lights
7. Check armrest, glove compartment and the rear seat arm rest
8. On the aircon, and tests all its functions
9. Test yr Headunit and the remote control on yr steering wheel
10. Turn on your headlights, signal lights, hazard light and check it's ok, try wipper (on yr left) and pull toward u to try nozzle working well
11. Tap your horn
12. Run thru the display panel and the display light adjustment
13. Go to the boot and try the folding seat plunger
14. Run through the leather seat and check whether can it adjust accordingly
15. Make sure u r given warranty card for the sunfilm and ipod cable
16. Check tires pressure for general guidelines u use 220kpa
17. Pop open bonnet, make sure bonnet insulation is there for SX.

That's abt it, the rest need u to drive the car and feedback accordingly..not a 100% comprehensive checklist but as a guide...hope it help

very easy and hard lol, easy to know where the screws are, hard for the hands and back....

first 4 screws on the left and right is the hardest, u need to squeeze ur whole arm inside the hole on top of the grill where the bonnet lock latch is... bend ur arms and use a very short screw to slowly screw open left n right side first 2, after removing 4 screw, bend open the grill a little and u can have more space for the bottom 4 screws....

interesting. so we can go custom make de whole front grill...

the grills are a part of the grill bracket, like what kapatian bro said, unless u cut the grills with cutter, u cannot DIY with mesh wires.... and if the mesh wire mod failed... had to buy another grill from C&C

sis, its a big risk lol
