acceleration of Forte

Hi Guys,
Have yet to get my car, still waiting for COE. Just wanna know how's cerato forte's acceleration? Anyone tried? Remember to quote if your car is a 1.5L or a 2 L, Manual or Auto. Thanks

On paper, it is 12.5 for 1.6AT and 10.5 for 2.0AT

what about the actual acceleration? and remember to state if you have any mods done. Thanks

for 100km.hr in how many seconds?

smoothness of the acceleration ?

optimum acceleration in each gear ?

1.6A shd be 12sec on paper.

How to determine actual 0-100 unless you have some form of measuring device? Use stopwatch? Our original speedo isn't 100% accurate either.

Maybe if someone can lend me a G-tech Pro, I willing to try..haha

i feel that somehow for 1.6A SX, its a bit sluggish from standing but after that its ok...somehow perhaps they adjusted it for mid torque rather than low or high end.

No red ring, so it's a EX model. Not bad, I calculated 8 sec from 0 -100kph.

Tot I saw 11 sec when I paused the video when the needle reached 100kph (look at the video timing)

From the video, seem like
- Launch at 2.5-3krpm 1st gear, hit 100km/h on 2nd gear at 11sec plus

noticed that the RPM needle went into the red zone momentarily b4 going into 2nd gear....

quite fast in my opinion for 1.6M to reach 100km/h at <11secs.....

On paper, the 1.6M shd achieve 10.3 sec for 0-100kmh.....

looking at the video a few more times and then realised that the kmh needle actually start to moved only at about 2 sec after the the video started....meaning we should actually reduced 2 sec from the time the needle reaches 100kpm (first 2 sec car still stationary so timing should not count) ..........meaning the 0-100 for Forte should be only 9 sec plus.......very impressive for a family sedan.....

This test car got Mod? maybe fitted with sports filter or something else ? noticed the RPM juz climb smoothly to the red zone with ease.........l

Very hard to concentrate leh, u hold ur underwear up....ur PIPI will be attracting alot of attention haha.

noticed our Forte prefer to be driven in aggressive mode in order to release its full potential....
