Forte , Forte Koup or Cruze ??

Hi guys,

Can advise whether how is Forte ? Currently am considering the above 3 as mention on topic. Heard dat Forte have quite a number of minor probs? Is that so ??
Personally I would prefer the 2.0A Forte but scare that it might hav lotsa probs.
For Koup owners, is the insurance very exp ??

Personally i think the design wise is quite on par, forte abit more slim and cruze looks huge.

But in terms of BHP i cannot imagine how cruze is going to move with 107horses especially when it is like 100+kg heavier than forte. FC wise nea standard, forte wins hands down.

The one thing cruze wins is the sound proofing.

As for KOUP, its just a forte minus the 2 rear doors.

But ultimately the choice is urs, better to head down for a test drive first before deciding.

Thanks bro .. saw and reply ur pm.. But I cant actually test drive yet due to license not got it yet..But as I know both Forte and Cruze collection dates need quite some time , thus I am trying to decide which to get.. Very Happy

So far i see most cars have their own problems, for forte i consider it minor.
I drove a nissan too, also have minor problems but its like 20k more exp.

You can forget abt the Cruze IMO. Pay more for cheaper looking interior, noisier engine. I was shock to see what i get. I test drove it tdy.

IMO, Cruze Interior is nicer Razz

But ppl views differ though.. But again , I somehow stil prefer the Forte 2.0A than Cruze 1.8A. grin

And I believe y u say the cheap looking interior is bcoz of the fabric.. grin

I tested both Cruze and Forte and decided on Forte. Cruze's sound proofing is definately better but bhp is only 107, with the car heavier by 100kg. Cruze's GB is a 6 speed auto transmission vs Forte's 4 speed. Power wise, it's pretty obvious. kekeke.

Well, that's why I'm in a forte forum.. haha.. I was considering both 1.6 cruze and 1.6 SX forte and I personally feel that the forte SX is a real value for money car. the interior now is already "upgraded" with the leather handrest with red stitches, which is real kool... soundproofing wise, you can do it outside.. check with the bros here... they can really poison you till you declare bankrupt.. hahaha... i'm tempted with what they do to their ride man... but vitamin M is the main prob...

Nahz..not bcoz of dat.. I have been eyeing Forte since it was launched until Cruze came out, then I went to both showroom to have a look but most likely decided on Forte as its package is much better than Cruze.. Pricing wise also suits my budget as well.. grin

But of cos, if I do really have budget, I would go for Audi or Honda but sometimes, its wise to save my pocket rather den work for the car. Very Happy

Juz bring out 2 models compare - 2.0SX(Forte) and 1.8A(Cruze) , U will know wat I mean.
(I did also went to BM to see Altis)

but quality wise, i think you have come here at the right time as CnC has solved quite a number of problems that the first batch bumped into. maybe you want to wait until the third batch to see if they can throw in some new gadgets.

To me Cruze is as botak as avante so they're not value for $$$$

Avante Pro:

proven model
Good pickup
lower maintenance
ample of aftermarket accessories
short delivery period

Avante Con:

Interior started to look oudated
Bare min features
Steering too light for comfort
4 Speed gearbox

Cruze Pro:

Interior look very cool
6 speed gear box
Conti-feel road holding
Good looking front

Cruze Con:

Slow pickup
Bare min features
Plastic seems lower grade
Back end look dated

Forte Pro:

Good looking design & shape
Good pickup
Load with features found on 2 L models
Nice interior

Forte Con:

Fairly new model so many loose end to tighten
Interior plastics look & feel cheap
aftermarket accessories very limited
long delivery period
4 Speed gearbox
C&C known for higher maintenance

By looking at the picture,i dont feel that cruze is longer & taller than forte leh?
But infact i feel that forte is taller,lengthwise cruze maybe longer in bonnet but is useless.
Cruze backroof slope down alot more than forte can have better headroom?Or maybe cruze seat height is design abit lower?

the cruze is indeed longer and wider than forte but lower. the gain in width and reduction in height can give better handling but forte compensates it by its massive 17" rim and low profile tyres. Forte , Forte Koup or Cruze ?? 332362

the backroof slope of the cruze make it looked like a coupe but as you said, forte's high roof can give rear passengers an advantage. Forte , Forte Koup or Cruze ?? Icon_biggrin
