I have contacted an insurance agent before. He said given my age profile and being a p-plater... Insurance premium hovers ard 2.4k - 2.6k for a normal sedan car... But I am wondering if this statement is true or not... (I contacted him 1 month ago anyway).

cos i decided not to get a class3 but a class 3A instead.

Age above 26 until 29 will be cheaper I think and age 30 and above will be at normal level... This is what I heard of.
But anyway, I hope what he said is true... I will consult more agents... Do you guys know the rebate for choosing in-house insurance? Coz C & C pricelist just put one lump sum of 1500 for in-house finance and insurance.

Not 5? My bro bought his Jazz back in 2007 and paid 2900 for premium. He was 23 that time and Jazz is his first car though... Last year in Sep he renewed it for a price of 2200, 10% NCD. But too bad, he had an accident few days ago (Apparently not his fault as the lady drivers cut into his lane, and without proof, it will be a 50-50 case. The lady 55% NCD is now a gone case too )

Your dad's age around 50+/-? Cos i also use my mum's name and my premium also about $1800. I tink if use my name will be ex too...25 with only 3.5years driving experience.

Hi all, I called SE to check on this 'FREE' bodykit thingy. SE returned my call and said that price for 1.6 SX(A) will increase to 48,999. When I booked it was 47,999, an additional $1000 increase. And the price of 48,999 comes with bodykit. If I want, I can top up $1000 to get the bodykit.

Hope this info helps all who are thinking whether they want the bodykit.

For me... wait till I get my COE then decide whether want bodykit a not. No COE = No car, why think so hard on the bodykit? Haha...

Body kit additional 1k... hmmm i think its quite worth it. Agent will have a better deal getting the body kit for us. If we get outside, 1k-2k. not to mention have to send for spray. Another fee hundred for that 4 parts...

Too bad, they dont... I have roughly checked with a few agents... The indicative premium for my age profile is around 2.6k-3k for a normal sedan...

Uncle also can loh, another thing what other people do is buy a low cc 2 nd car and clock 20-40% NCD then buy 1st hand car, that means u wont get a forte

never top up anything. I paid 48,999 b4 e price was reduce to 47,999 after which e price went up to 48,999 again.

Juz@kid, haha.. cerato price go up and down based on COE price.. I thought 47,999 was the highest, didnt expect previously it was 48,999.. sorry my mistake.. think you can try to call your SE to test water if he willing to throw in free bodykit for you..
