How many SX(A) buyers yet to get your car?

i had free paint protection as freebie, maybe just a normal wash first can do, not sure if polishing will spoil the paint protection.

Actually we should do the paint protection (nt polishing) asap inorder to protect and maintain the new paint work.

If you are not doing paint protection. It is highly recommended you send your car to your usual car wax/polish for waxing asap. The usual wax done by car distributor is just not good enough.

so after the paint protection i can straight apply polish or protection sealant ?

don think u can/should do any polish after applying paint protection. Ask those paint protection folks.

yah.. i thk no need too cos already its sealed with the layer of protection.. i thk some r asked not to wash with shampoo too..

yah bro, no need to do anything after the paint protection. jus wash ur car regularly will do.

After PPS, it's not advisable to do polish. Polishing will thin out your PPS layer. Wash and occasional wax will do.

Thanks bro for all the advise, so i wont be polishing my ar first, just do normal washing maybe for 1-2 month before i add liquid polish to rinsh my car after soaping.

For new ride, best to DIY with cleaner and seal with sealant..if u die die want to send in to those polish and wax shops, make sure they using manual method rather than machine....bcos if in good hands, machine polish is ok but on a half-past-six guy, it will do more harm then good.

Those that send in for those PPS, no need to apply any polish or wax, just wash with light shampoo but how long it will last, pretty subjective....

ermm i think his AUG quote is SE gave one, not very accurate. later scali like me one fine day SE call say got stock liao, then like octopus have to reschedule all ur things to go sign. I think if they have in july he will get july. but please be like Tish once get call go and sign and pay up if not like me deeleedaelee till weeked which end up the follwowing week then SE submit all paperwork.

lol, once u pay, they will ask another department do registration with LTA. After that u get car plate.... 1-2 days later drive out from pandan.

Hi Forkia.... I did ask to change from black to beige colour for the leather seat during booking.... but had to top up $100. I prefer beige colour for the seats.... but my SE said it might not match well.... let's see when i collect it....

hi bro, actually when any time before u sign u feel ur SE cannot make it, u dont sign. Another thing is u cannot compare date of booking one. firstly different SE's customer different queue. SE A got 10 people, SE B got 5 people, both SE last person book same day. Who u thnk get car first. SE B maybe get car first, be then again... who bid COE first is another thing...

The queue is for car stock, also depend on model and color, the bidding is done by manager. Freebies, what u want they dont give, u dont sign lol

Hi lakopi, did you secure your COE on 17 Jun, understand the next COE is 3 wk time and it will go up again.

ForKia, i secured only at my 2nd bid, which was on the June 1st bid.
COE bidding happens on 1st and 3rd wednesday every month and bidding closed at 4pm....

i'm waiting for mine on the next shipment too...

So your SE told you July shipment or next shipment (end jun)...

lol i wont be SE one. Anyway beginning when i book car i also dont know procedure, after i buy and come to this forum then i know. I was lucky the first SE only give me rikecool and i wanted to sign, my friend was there to stop me. 2nd SE was my colleague's ex neighbour, only from her i got a better deal.

We all learn from mistake de ma, i tot u havent book, want to ask u dont buy from that SE, now then i know u secure COE le lol
