Perfect NHTSA and IIHS Safety Rating ? Could not find the results and the past Kia Spectra(Thats what they call in US) from IIHS website is only marginal or poor from the previous cerato model. Misleading ?

The disclaimer for this is that the rating is from their own labs performing tests similar to that done by IIHS and NHTSA.

In other words, it has a good shot at the real thing (assuming Kia never kelong their own tests), but the jury's out until IIHS and NHTSA actually tests the Forte.

Ok, here's the disquieting thing.

I just dropped by NHTSA site, and guess what? 2010 Mazda 3 has already been tested. 5-stars and all.

No sign of Forte results anywhere. scratch

Yeah, and I do believe there is some truth in their crash claims. And especially when Forte is sold in the US & Europe, I don't think KIA would give misleading claims to the consumers there given the strict consumer protection. Drive safely, else 5-star rating is not gonna help in any way. Very Happy
