Safety belt interlock

i not sure if you guys are aware of this... During cornering at certain speed, you won't be able to pull the seat belt no matter what.. When it is in the straight road, then it can be pulled...

This happen to me when I driving my friends for lunch.. My friend who sitting beside me, had not fasten his seat belt.. So it just happen that he try to pull the seat belt when i was doing my cornering. He can't pull till i drove straight.. After he told me that, We did some verification and true enough to what he claim..

Pardon me if i don't knw this, at least I knw my previous old ride doesn't have this.. Only will be "lock" when you jerk fast..
