Yup, I agree too. that was too long. I guess this has also got to do with the COE bidding cos too many can't get the bid and Kia warehouse can't affort to hold too many cars also if they keep stocking up and nobody can get the car.

imagine all those deposits C&C amassed over those 4 months!!!!

4 mths is a super super long wait.. stupid C&C, why cant they give dos buyers who oready get their coe n loan approved first rather than having a fully loaded warehouse. but then again dos buyers who car colour no stock, bo pian la... still hv to wait lor... if onli C&C is kind enough in coe bidding????

i ever tot of spraying white rims n calipers if i got a white car, but when i think of cleaning n scratch n send fore respray, i give up.

I think if ordered the EX manual version ( as in the first batch of new forte) they like got ready stocks.. so maybe the COE will come faster, since they also want to clear their stocks..

So good.. so many of you are getting your new forte...

maybe the delay of our delivery dates is due to COEs.. because C&C dont have so many successful COEs.

Are you are saying that CnC still have ready stock of first batch Forte EX manual to clear ?

They might still have certain colours available as ready stock because SX is more popular than EX, and auto is more popular than manual.

If thats the case then its is a good buy for those interested.

which = higher OMV = higher resale value or scrap value.

best of all ready stocks no need to wait till June.......

Come to think of it, the money saved getting an EX, top up with freebies like leather seats, reverse sensors if SE permits is a good bang. Those extra savings can be used to beautify the car!

Shld be correct.. old cerato is catergory as variant 1 and variant 2..

New cerato is catergory under EX and SX

I've seen an old cerato (very new car but not the current model of cerato) with the letters EX on the back, not variant 1. But I've seen other old ceratos with variant 1 on the back too. *shrug*

But the ceratos ordered within this year should most definitely be the forte (new cerato), so no worries, especially if you've gone down to the showroom and seen the new fortes all around the showroom when booking your car.

i also saw some black cerato with EX but its not the forte design

ya, this was what the SE told me that EX manual got ready stock, for certain colours...but she mentioned quite a number of colors though.. and said that the older version is better because got 2 airbags, 4 wheel disk brakes etc = higher OMV... and also told me the newer EX manual dont have so many features because they want to make it cheaper.. something like that..

confirmed all buyerz will get e all new cerato forte n not e old cerato model ex, v1 or v2 coz C&C no longer selling dat model liao....

i believe there r still some stock left for the old EX (A) becos i know someone who booked it during the 1st free BK weekend (early apr). apparently, it was leftover stock or stock that customer fail to secure (unapproved loan, etc).

its good to take e old EX stock as it cumz wif 2 air bag, 4 disc brake etc... rather than get e newer EX wif a "budget version"... not to forget e price u paying for..

I'm sure of the old cerato that they only got 2 disc brake, but I do see that Forte has got 4 rite?

they are the same price for old EX and new EX .. so its like more worth to take the old EX since higher OMV.

My bro bring me ard showroom to view and test drive car.. then I mentioned to him.. have you seen Forte?? why not we go see.. then he ask me.. am i interested in Korean car?? if not just look at the car which I like will do.. after view Honda City and Jazz at KAH motor, I just said.. since kia is nearby lets go take a look..

The moment we step in.. my JAW DROP!! OMG.. Forte stand there proudly when everyone is feeling it and taking photo with it. After I go for test drive was like.. hmm.. comfortable!! that is what changes my view from a J to a K in just 5mins after not bothering abt their nationality anymore.
