Hey, couldn't locate my hood support rod cos I was starting to explore in engine bay after collecting the car yesterday. Try searching on net and manual but couldn't find it.

Anyone can help by showing the location with a pic?

Thanks!

thx bro!

my gal fd it for me cos I left it with her while I finish the last mileage on my old one

it was so funny - both of us were staring at the engine bay for like 5 mins n couldn't find the support. My one in my old car was located on the side of the engine bay instead of the hood.

But thinking of installing a pair of spring type arm like those u see at the boot windows for hatchbacks...

do take note when inserting the rod......make sure you insert it in the correct hole.....it should be the lower hole.... the one nearer to you....

you'll have a hard time taking it out if you insert it in the wrong hole..... Hood support rod Icon_biggrin
