Had pressed & hold, but sometimes open & sometimes don't, will ask C&C when my 5000k servicing hit ( therefore atm, i don't rely on remote anymore, just pull the lever Boot release button Icon_tongue )

The boot release button only work when the engine is switch off and the door unlocked, otherwise it doesn't work

i also notice this.. cannot open using the boot release button when engine is off and car doors open.. must use the lever in the car. and i tink when the boot is open, cannot lock the doors when lock key is pressed but once boot is closed after that, it will lock all doors

For sharing.

I have juz double confirmed liao.

I can use remote to open boot when engine off, regardless of door locked or unlocked.

I can also lock my door when my boot is open and engine off.

I cannot open boot when engine is running.

Mine can open everytime i use remote, so maybe u guys can get C&C to check urs.

For my case, when walking towards my car(Engine off, door locked) after leaving home, sometimes boot can open by boot release button, sometimes can't, will consult C&C.

yes, be it whether yr doors are lock/unlock, engine start or not, the remote boot release is independent and can function as it is....
