Remote Boot Release for EX (Older) ? Empty Remote Boot Release for EX (Older) ?

Hello guys,

I read in a post somewhere sometime ago that MCD attempted but failed to install a remote boot release for the EX.

So far has any one been able to install remote boot release for the EX ? Does it mean that the alarm has to be changed as well ?

yes u need to change ur alarm to install the boot release

after market alarm more or less have the same funcition be it viper/spy/sigca/steelmate all more or less same its wat u want... normall cost about $300 for 2 way and about $80 to get the release motor from C&C

Thanks. I suppose the important thing is to buy the release part for $80 from lengkee. Then look for an aftermarket installer.

If ur mechanic is good, those 'gun' that is used for opening the door by remote is sufficient to open the boot.( it cost only $20 or less) U need a alarm system that allows boot release so that they can do something to it.

I installed my 2 way alarm at tay audio near bukit batok.. Not sure the actual location.
