I got the same thing.

I think is standard package bah..

IMHO, don't be bothered what others get for freebies and make yourself unhappy. Other bros & sis paid different prices & get different freebies for our rides due to the differences in COE prices, loan amts, loan duration & SE's commission. There is not much basis for comparision. In reality, once you'd signed, SE will not give u any thing more but lip service.

sound clad will cover underbody, door panels and wheel arches...
not sure if firewall/tirewell are included.... they are using corrotec.

your SE very good. Mine SE only give Rikecool, orignal remote control link with car horn. No visor, no 3A / 3M (only normal car mat from Kia), SE said loan 50% ($29k) only cannot earn much so cannot give.
The rest like BK, reverse censor, bluetooth kit, auto mirror are standard for SX

I booked my EX during the carnival and i got no freebies except a 10% discount.

The new car is w/o leather seat, w/o rear disc brakes and with hydraulic steering wheel.

hi there, I booked the EX on day of the carnival too, what was was quoted to me was $900 for leather seats plus solar films...

think solar films is 300.. dunno cheap anot leh.. any advice?

and i decided to make do with the fabric seats cos must pay $$

from wat I understand is that once you've test driven a car with a particular SE, you are unable to change to another SE (from the same sale centre) for one month.....(read this from another forum).

One way to get better deal from SE ........ after test driving say you'll think about it first....show SE that you're undecided....if you show SE that you're very impressed and have decided on the car than you are unlikely to get a good bargain (SE will think you're already in the bag).......

tell SE that you'll get back to them at a later date.....and SE will then most likely start to offer/tempt you with all the freebies that they can afford to offer.....

the GPS in the blue Forte (Leng Kee) not user friendly, not sure is it I don't know how to use. Presently using Garmin GPS. Kia GPS can update maps ? How often ? Is it free ?

har.... don scare me... was told Kia GPS got voice navigate too.

But one thing for sure is Garmin is proven good. It has the following:
voice navigate
tells u speed cam, red light cam ahead
tells u when u exceeded speed limit on the current road u drive (amazed!!)

Hopefully Kia GPS has these functions too...hehe

mine Garmin 310 will not inform me exceeded speed limit on the current road I drive. Only on and off tell me what is the speed limit on that road

so btm line is dun get the KIA one.. if really need gps get one outside?

Hi all. I'm new to this forum. Booked my white forte ex at the carnival @ about 47k+ for the car without any freebies.

On top of the 47k, SE requested $1200 top-up to get the following and I accepted the offer:
1) rikecool solar films
2) leather seats
3) reverse sensors
4) alarm

until today, looking through the forum, seems like I got chopped like a big white carrot.

considering mine is an opc, is the topup worthy enough? I might even consider to ask for the gps and reverse camera installed.

Any thoughts?

If you want to squeeze dont forget when come to COE they can play you back by no getting the COE for you..end of the day you will have to wait till 6 bids finish then take back your $$ or top-up alot more...

Serious bidding usually starts at 3pm (it ends at 4pm), they are like last-minute deals

See real-time bidding @ www.onemotoring .com.sg (just Refresh to see latest)

U can check if there is any bidding for you and the bidding amount by keying-in your IC No here too

On Wed afternoon, www.onemotoring.com.sg will be dedicated to COE bidding

It'll show all the relevant data such as current bid (usually S$1 during the early stage), no. of quota, current how many are bidding, etc. Take note of the time; "Refresh" the webpage to see the latest

You can check your bidding status at a link there or go https://ocoe.lta.gov.sg. Here, you key-in your IC No. & you'll know if your SE is bidding 4 u and the bidding amt.

If your bidding amt is less that the current bid price, CALL YOUR SE to "remind" him/her to revise your bid - Do this before 4pm or it'll be too late (then have to wait another 2 weeks for the next bidding)

If your bidding amt is more that the current bid price, cross you fingers that the final bid price (at 4pm) does not exceed your bid price.

It's actually quite exciting to "watch" it live. You'll have a feeling of "hitting 4-D" when you bid successfully.

Imagine this, I understand that they have about 250-300 cars yet to collect / get their CoEs...

2100 x 250 = $525,000.00
2100 x 300 = $630,000.00

525k + 630k / 2 = SGD$577,500.00
more than 1/2 a million dollars in their bank account... rolling...

Hmmm..... seem like the 10% discount promo is not a very good buy..... SE are taking this chance not to gif any free gif..... the 10% is given by C&C wat not your SE.... the free gifts are given by then..... so I don't think they are earning lesser durin the discounted week......

You can check your own bidding yourself (with IC no.) at the secured webpage I'd mentioned - no need to ask CnC
