Hey thr bros and sists, wanna check if any of you all here bid for any 'special number' for your Forte/ Koup? gonna head down to make my downpayment this week , heard SE said that early Jan can register my car . Eh, not really that rich till i wanna put money to bid for a number but would wanna avoid getting some number like 1444/ 2444/1414...etc..hahha, anyway that we can ask SE to help to avoid kena-ing those number? hmm, registering in Early jan AKA mean can maybe get my baby by mid Jan??

yes, reg in early jan likely means car can be received by mid/late jan.

yes i getting another car so try to keep 2 same number. my is 2 number for my first car. so will put in min 3k to try to get it. as my first car plate is more than 10yrs

The car number is still SJU 4900 - 5000 only leh. Sure within 1 month can reach SJV? I'll be getting my car this weekend, but my car registration still not done yet, waiting for the number to be 5000+ to avoid the number 4 in front.

correct loh that is some ppl doing. i like to have my very own car plate. that time want to buy an old car plate from a car passby ask him sell he also don want to sell.

depending on hw many cars are gettin registered for the next two weeks.. actually i foresee the numbers in early jan to hit late 8 series or 9 series.. if got more than SJV 1 series liao

If you are buying a new car, and you find bidding for a number too much of a hassle, you can leave it to the computer to generate a number for you. Immediately after your motor vehicle dealer enters your vehicle particulars into the system, the system will randomly generate a number once and assign it to your vehicle.

If you do not like the registration number assigned by the computer system, you can still bid for a registration number of your choice. You will need to pay a fee of $300 (before GST) for each replacement of the vehicle registration number.




This means if the System Assigned Vehicle Number not nice, we just need pay 300 to do a computer generated number 1 more time? or need pay 300 + 1000 to bid number again?

once number allocated to u cannot repick le... unless u bid new number...

just sharing. my parent wanted a number similar to his car and bidded in Oct for the SJV. There are a number of these series who were successful and on the road already although the current auto generated SJU series are in the upper numbers now.

yup.. saw those bidded SJV on the road.. but i still prefer SJU.. hehe..

just now just go LTA to submit my bid for my SJWXXR. closing on 2 Jan. Act faster if want. 5% of my car prices i think is worth it
