Possible to get FULL LOAN ?

Is it possible to get full loan for Forte ?

Anybody here got full loan?

i think it is possible.... but u will pay the initial downpayment of minimum 1k... i oso heard this will be refunded eventually... but dunno when.

yup, u can get full loan.
i think Maybank allows that.

Wow take full loan? Do you intend to drive for 10 years? Otherwise take shorter loan is better, interest is alot if take 10 years loan.

Hw much is the interest now?

2.2% quite standard, you can combine your thread into one so its easier for you to follow too, instead of starting another one "when can you get if book now". minimum booking fee like 1k - 2k can be refunded upon arrival of car, before collection when you deduct away the 1st installment.

if don't wish to pay full, can go by 0% credit card installment. coming shipment has to fulfill lots of back order, so if you're not in a rush its ok, April collect. Depending on model and color then we'll see who collects the car 1st.

Full loan - very possible as long as you have a good credit score. Banks are very happy to give more loans with longer durations.

Do note that if you take full loan with 10 years, just be prepared to stay with the car for at least 6-7 years, else you need to top up 10K+ to change car.

Wee Hong, no intention to offend. But you'd better do all your sums right. A car is not just about the monthly installments, petrol, parking fees, road tax, insurance, routine maintenance, mods and etc... the list can go on.

Like my younger brother(who drives and rides his dream machines) says, it's a way of life. The newfound freedom will lead to even more non-car-related expenditure. Be very sure and be very prepared. It takes a whole lot of self-discipline(in terms of finances) which I didn't have either back in my earlier days of car ownership.

As waypoint puts it clearly, there is much more to hidden costs than just the monthly installments etc.

Bro wee hong, both dbs n may bank approved my full loan. But mine is opc n take 8 yrs loan. Monthly $502 which quite ok for me.

No worries, Weehong. We are not out to be wet blankets or to diss you... Of course we'd only be happy if we have more members on this forum. But not at the expense of bread and water for meals and bankruptcy... Car ownership would be meaningless and miserable.

own a car only u can well afford it basically it's not a need but more of a luxury, no point after getting one and start to stress over payments....10 yrs loan is risky.....what if u lose yr job?...etc....

I booked my KOUP with 1K downpayment and applied for the full Loan. Tmrw is Monday so officially day 1 of 5 to await bank approval. I earn 2.3K at an avg with my soon-to-be wife (in 2 weeks) earning 3K avg. I fax the documents on Sat so not sure that counted as day 1 of working day. Anyways, always be prepared when purchasing a car.

For me I paid 20K upfront, then the rest take loan. Like Waypoint suggest... loan is just to help you buy something eariler, but you must still be able to come up wif the monthly payments.

So for me I actually begin saving up way before the KIA forte launch. After I have the money, I then choose to buy the car tht's avaliable in the market.
