I received call from my SE today asking me to make payment this weekend. I asked when I can get and he says I can expect to collect less than 10 days after making payment.

whitechocho - what payment you referring to ah? on the launch i paid the deposit. Then this week should settle my insurance, outstanding loan of my current ride etc...

dummyhalf - i paid my insurance & first installment last week. and these payments just cleared. SE mentioned when payment clear then they start doing up the car and go for QC check. almost ready & done then register. after register, abt 3 approx then can collect.

after reading I realized that no SE have been able to give a definite date regarding collection, meaning they are not in the know too, though my SE told me am not in this batch, lets see how it goes, if had sticked to Forte, happily driving liao lor and not following this 15 pages.

think till nw, it's not up to d se to promise u d date... think they oso held up by company... company dun wanna release car, they oso LL... think they dun wanna hand over d car to us meh? d faster they do it, d faster they get their comm & less phone calls from us....

yeah, lesser kpkb from us on phone and face-face. they don't hand over car also won't get comm for their finance and insurance, but for a big company, is quite "jiao" not to know when will arrive. when the ship sets sail, they should know what to collect mah, though the ship is shared with Hyundai too, maybe thats the reason why unable to get more cars in.

yah.. so dunno who is the one lah.. my SE did mention she wants to give me faster to get comm. but she never mention abt company holding it up. she only keep saying, QC check needs time (test for leakages and stuffs), dun wanna compromise on it although can ask them to chop chop check.

this is correct, they need to get sub-con to do it fast. anyway ship docked so long liao, from the invoice will know how many cars are there, but not sure bout the allocation scheme. like what my friend said, from the time I booked, the car is not even manufactured yet!

anyway, it's all back to d waiting game....
