From the equipment list, it states that the 1.6 do not come with Mud Guards, cigarette lighter, portable ashtray and automatic cruise controls. Anyone can verify??

the only difference between 1.6 and 2.0 is the cruise control. the rest the same.

hmm.. not sure abt the allocation part.. but if urs already in this shipment, no matter wat also will be allocated to u in the end. anyway my SE.. collection is 2 weeks after payment leh! cos cheque will take few days (3-5 working days) to clear. after clear then they will QC and do up the car, after tt then register. then SE says 2-3 days after register can collect. hmm...

The equipment list i refer to is the brochure that was given by my SE. The front indicates the prices and the back shows the specs and equipment for the 1.6 and 2.0

Was looking at that awhile ago, curious. So posted this question.

d cars r not register yet due to cnc dis yr already hit their target quota... cnc will only start releasing from 1st week of jan 2010 onwards to hit their 2010 quota... juz came back from making noise & most se telling me d same thing... so to all d bros & sis who still have not receive any calls, juz relax for dis festive season....

I just came back from my payment in the evening, apparently CNC now wants to get as many Koups (or KIA cars for the matter) registered as possible before the year ends, to ensure they maintain their lead over Nissan... so my SE asked me to choose to get the car in the 1st week of Jan or later.... After considerations, though I'm quite keen to have the car soon, but I still decide to get my car registered only in Jan 2010... that means I will have a 2010 car

But if the paper work is done quickly, I might still get the car in the 1st week of Jan... else 2nd week is good for me too... way in time for CNY!

Hey wchoco, I might have put it wrongly, what I meant is that I can choose to register the car this week (week of 28 Dec) and get my car next week (week of 4 Jan 2010), but that would mean my car effectively is a 2009 car.... but if I register on the week of 4 Jan 2010 (1 being a holiday :S), I should get my car in the week of 11 Jan 2010, was hinted earliest I can get is actually 9 Jan if the paper work is fast!

Hey devil, I booked in mid Oct... Depends really if they have on hand the colour which must also match the Engine Cap and Transmission. I think I'm really lucky to have the "Sun, Moon and Stars" aligned to be allocated for this round. I heard the next batch will definitely not make it for CNY unless there's surprises on the shipment.

Hey omg2doors, just keep your fingers crossed! I got my call a few days ago too, which mine is a stock they have been holding and just "decided" to release at the last min.... yours might be there too!

seems like kia might be getting better nowadays, i booked mine on 19th oct and i'm getting it soon
considering that this batch can clear pre-launch and launch events, the remaining orders should be far lesser...
also koup will be a more hot selling item than other cars like the picanto and the newer kia model so the next batch should be more dedicated to bringing in forte and koup

ooo.. hmm.. my SE seems a bit different. mentioned can only register in first week of jan which means ard 4th jan or so, then normally 3 days after registration can collect liao.
