actually i'm wondering y the dome light trigger wire only have 12v when door close, so how does the dome light get power when the door is open???

You are assuming that the door has to be closed to flip a switch is it? But what exactly is positively grounded? Typically ground in a circuit always refers to the negative terminal.

It has been known that a car uses its car body to transmit electricity back to the car's battery, so it will make sense to only provide a single 12V wire, but there must be a switch on the door that controls a switch that connects the 12V only when door open.

I bought the circuit off webby, but after every parts fixed, cannot work leh, dunno wats wrong.. can some1 tell me the + switch where to find? i tried to tap from my driver side door switch, but cannot do....

I'm guessing no need to locate door switch, my guess is that the positive lead found in the dome light already comes from the door switch? But it is just a guess.

but i tried to tap all across the wires liao, still only always on nia, sian 1/2, but when free i will check the pcb, maybe its damaged...

when i see people connect stuff, the negative always go to the car body. jump start car also, the negative just clip to car body.
