Huh ? got such thing meh? It is to their convinience of manufacturing or what ? As consumer it is our decision to buy or not to buy, where got " MUST " top up $1k . Agree with Juan if you dun top up what will they give instead . . Ha Ha good one . If SE say cannot , there is other car showroom nearby .

your SE is conning you.. getting u to top-up $1k means he earn more commission..

if the items is a MUST.. C&C will not slapped themselves that top-up $1k is a must when they can just increase price by $1k and said its *FREE*.. which selling gimmicks sound better?

so play smart with your words towards your SE.. if really a MUST.. ask your SE show T&C that is a MUST to have push start to drive and when our forte dont even required it..

If dun have immobilizer then its super stupid or careless of KIA. If you forget to lock your car, then gone liaos! just push button and drive away! Yeah!

You can refer to the KGIS. The stock push start sytem is totally different from aftermarket. It is linked with the ECU. The ECU will monitor the car speed, key present, other critical conditions for enabling or disabling push start funtionality during driving. And btw steering lock is also available in stock push start..
