I planning to wait and see first...

Some of the bros here mentioned that the smooth feeling goes after a couple of weeks...

So if that is the case, the what is the diff from PPS from normal waxing?

Although some claim that it protects from bird crap and tree sap... but what my house area does not have those??

Do I still need PPS still??

250-300 le... top up slightly more and I can get better rims which can help me get better FC, pick up and save money which there will an ROI still.

Smile

if ur car is not subjected to the elements constantly like u always parked under cover (mscp and covered carparks), normal waxing should be enough. u can also get those guys that "clean" the car for u daily... they just wash ur car using water.....just monitor them randomly so that they will use clean water ....

Also dunno how true some of the stories i heard. Get the car already, use for a while (like mentioned a few days to weeks depending on ur parking and driving patterns) get a good sealant or a company which uses good quality ones. Makes the cleaning easier for you and protect the base paint work. Works for my friend's mazda, but of course we never know until we have 2 cars same everything.

When i got my car 2 years ago, veryhardworking once in 3 weeks wax once. After 6 mths give up liao. Wax also dun wax. Just drive to spc for car wash weekly. But can see the difference, the paint works is dull compared to back then.

Anyway, how much do those guys charge?

Mine is an OPC, dun really need to wash every day, alt days will be good enuff.

Different car park different pricing. You have to go wait one day walk over and ask. But i last heard 30-40 a mth for one near my place. (overheard) an owner asking.

But if urs OPC might as well just wash 2 times a week at petrol kiosk. Might be cheaper.

I dunno wor, some of the "daily" cleaning one i saw before the water one bucket can clean so many cars....

Petrol kiosk have cheaper ones also. I know SPC have 3 bucks if you spend 40 bucks on petrol at some selected places.i do tt weekly so cost still low. 12 bucks a month. My house is mscp so i guess i top up 30 bucks for the shelter already lol.

NEVER ask those BANGALAH to wash/clean car daily ...
as say 1 PAIL of water KILLs ALL cars

Those can afford go apply PPS or CS2 lor

Those who cannot afford like me,
1) Wash car myself ($0.20 / pail so i use 3 X)
2) Get a good polisher to polish ur car Qtrly which i did
3) Kana bird ****, faster use wet tissue to clean

Don't forget to wax as polishing alone does not protect ur car paint from the elements.... i find it out the hard way

Wax is tiring but good exercise. Do it yourself once a month good enough 2 hours plus a wash. But i think having wax often protects your body really well. My current car 1hr no wax already still good because early time i wax monthly.

Yeah, if the boss can match pro guard, say $320-$350, he will snatch all the customers away!! Can talk to Patrick (Tough Seal's boss) to give good group discount to Kia cerato Forte members?
