Battery Life
Just want to check - suppose we turn off engine but we didnt turn off the lights. Although the lights will be cut off, will this eat into battery life?
Btw, anyone got any lobang for future battery change?

Re: Battery Life
If want to change, change to the maintenance free type.
No need to top up battery water one.
Not sure if ours are like that.

Re: Battery Life
Battery will be charged again once you crank start your engine. So not much of an issue. I think a battery can easily last 2 years.
My current one is almost 2 years old, and still going strong.
As for lobang, I got mine chopped by BMS at AMK Autopoint, so wouldn't recommend there. Paid 140plus for the battery.

Chen Jin has batteries too? NICE!!
I'm seriously considering changing my rims from 16" to 17", but dunno can or not. My CFO may not agree...
But it'll definitely look damn swee! Better if it's 18"!!

Re: Battery Life
Never use batteries with their brands on stickers and pasted on the battery. These will last usually 12 months.
Go for those with their brands embossed on the the battery body. Example: Amaron (very solid build)

Re: Battery Life
My SE told me the Forte is the 'dry' ones. No need top-up battery water and should be able to last 2year +.

Re: Battery Life
I noticed Forte battery a bit different from the rest.
The battery is clipped at the bottom.
So when change a new one (not the original one that came with the car), a new clamp needs to be installed, I supposed.
Any idea ?

Re: Battery Life
Usually... longer cranking time(with a pinch of salt). MF batteries usually do not give any indication of dying.
