Maybe good maybe bad.. cause if the thief use so much strength and glass won't break, maybe he hit till piss off instead of just glass damage he go hit your car body and you will have hole everywhere at your car...

I called RikeCool this morning and checked with one of their staff. They claimed that there's no such thing as RikeCool Premier25, only have the 28. And they said the forte is using that package.
Any other brothers ever checked with RikeCool before?

Re: Solar Film
I called because I'm concerned about the heat reduction qualities of the tinting. I personally prefer a clear film, but there are some dark tints that have very poor heat rejection qualities. If the IR rejection and heat rejection sucks, I might as well take the folding mirror option and get my tinting done outside.

I think its like the 'OEM' version... How much CnC paying will be much less than what the public pays.
So I don't think RikeCool solar film provided by Cnc will cost around 1k... Must be much less... cause those getting ThermalGuard, the value is $250..

Tiny.. did you ask them how come the warranty card stated rikecool premier 25 instead of 28? Did u ask them to explain on this portion? if they insist 28 why didnt they provide u a warranty card stated 28? good to get black and white statement as in email.. all these evidence can be brought up to CASE or lawsuit

I did asked them that, I told them that most people who collected their cars had 'Rikecool premier 25' written on the warranty card. But the lady on the phone told me that there's no such thing. I just asked my SE today when I went to sign the paperwork for my car. He told me that there's only 1 package in CnC, and it's all done inhouse (dunno by who though). I asked him to confirm if it's 25 or 28, he say he also not sure. Argh..forget it, I just take the package..I'll get the folding mirrors done at Mancando..

Re: Solar Film
This rikecool premier 25/28 confusion is detrimental to both the rikecool co. and the Forte owner. Rikecool's reputation is at stake if the window tint is of sub-standard quality. The Forte owner may have been taken for a ride, thinking that they've got Premier 28 when that's not what they are getting. The only winner to come out of all this confusion is: CnC

lol top left of the site~
This 20% is given by the thermalguard pple.
Yeah loh do it myself one..but ok lah very near my place.
If u can squeeze out a good one from ur SE, do so. If not, please do not top up to ur SE for a better package. They tend to round the price off to the nearest hundred. Round up, of coz.
Coz i heard pple topping up 600 for my package.
Erm, well i tried to rationalise this buy by thinking that ill be using this car for at least 3-4 years, and solar film is something that u will use as long as u drive in the day. So heart feels less pain.
Dont bother to use the basic one. Put machiam no put. Later u put already regret, then wanna do better ones, u got to pay even more.

Re: Solar Film
chance upon this article on rikecool supply to AD....maybe those that complaints abt their sunfilm were given the lowest grade supply to AD....my so -called $900 rikecool was pretty good and effective and my ride is park under the sun during working hr....
Most people will try to negotiate some freebies with their new car purchase. One item that often gets packaged together is solar film installation. Solar films are designed to tint the glass and reduce the amount of heat absorbed by the car’s interior. Given Singapore’s hot climate, this is a very practical add-on that is often sought after by many car owners.
Not all solar films are equal, of course. Some brands are reputable, some others are not so. Of course, there can also be cheaper brands with good specifications, high quality films. When Kah Motor packaged a RikeCool Clarity with my new Honda Stream, I thought it should be a reasonably good film.
But alas, I eventually found it was not so.
The RikeCool Clarity film offered by Kah Motor is a special arrangement they made with RikeCool. RikeCool themselves do not sell this film to their own customers. The Clarity film is somewhat “low quality”. The film on the front windscreen and front passenger windows have visible light transmission of 80% and infrared rejection of 30%. The films on the other windows have visible light transmisson of 50% and infrared rejection of 30%.
The glass tinting or shading effect aside, infrared rejection of 30% is extremely low. In fact, the people I spoke with at RikeCool say that the Clarify film is simply a UV filter, not a solar film. The Clarify film rejects 99% of UV, just like most solar films. But its 30% infrared rejection is extremely low compared with 80% or so for most other films.
The difference in the infrared rejection can be felt very significantly when your car is exposed to direct sunlight.
UV rejection is important too. It protects the interior of the car. All the other RikeCool films are also equally good at UV rejection (99% UV rejection). In fact, all the other solar films from other brands to double up to provide UV rejection. So it is not as if the RikeCool Clarify from Kah Motor has some special advantage over other films.
In the end, I got the Premier 85 film installed on my front windscreen and front passenger windows, while the remaining windows had Premier 28. There hasn’t been really a lot of hot sun lately, but my subjective feeling is that my car does feel cooler than my previous Altis installed with Huper Optik films (but I don’t remember exactly which model of the film).
If you are offered RikeCool Clarify by Kah Motor, and you’ve already signed on the dotted line… there is still hope. You can make arrangements to “upgrade” the film. Call RikeCool directly to find out the details.

Re: Solar Film
There is a strong possibility that CnC's Rikecool Premier25 is actually the same as Kah's Rikecool Clarity. They could be the same product, just given a different label.

Re: Solar Film
Hmm if it's really premier28, then it should be quite decent. I was questioning my SE so much over what exactly is CnC offering for the RikeCool until he was so stressed. I don't want darker tint, but I want more heat rejection.
Dark film doesn't necessarily make your car cooler, because the dark tinting can actually trap heat INSIDE your car if the UV and IR rejection levels are minimal.
