If COE on non-guarantee and COE really shot way up, likely CnC will refund the deposit, it make no business sense to sell it if the selling price is low with estimated COE not exceeding 5K....therefore those on non guarantee, either top up or get back deposit...

is this why my SE who is a distant friend decided to bid successfully for me this coe?

Sounds bad for next upcoming biddings.... if coe jump higher means no good on theose havent got ?

if yr SE really steady blow pipi, he/she will definitely try their best to secure COE first even though car not in port yet....and those that not so eager will just take it bid by bid to entice you to top up, if u don't want, 6 bids up, CnC will refund u and they get another buyer willing to pay more....so those that got COE but no ride, don't grumble liao, in fact is a blessing in disguise..... Laughing

i told my SE i not in the hurry june or later to get car when i book in Feb but after top up 1k in mar then bid for me just before april. i think its really the price and the top up . based on current price its more worth it to sell to those who pay more cos they earn more also. there is not lack of customer but lack of car only.

Forte.. I think out of the 6 non guaranteed bid period.. as long 1 bid never bid is consider not successful.

The last bid my SE did not bid mine either.. and consider 1 failed Crying or Very sad

Bad News ....Col my Ride Thursday n was told that Open Cat COE is available with Top-Up from $2K - $4K if those Pre-Launch Buyer request.

thats what i was told too, if didnt bid means unsucessful, coz there is this 3 months dateline for SE to decide give up or whatever... so its an advantge for SE

From the trend of COE, think should have quite a good chance to secured it on May's bidding. The rise in the COE has slowed down. But for those pre launch ones, anyone got indicatives prices of coe amt..... the ag bidded..... Suspect

Maybe try calling your SE and find out how much he/she gonna bid this coming round. At least you would not get a rude shock if the bid is lower than what you had expected after another fail bid.

I don't think it is too late to wait for the forth bid result to come out before you opt in for the open cat. Unless they wanna refund you or you can't wait, then just discuss the details with your SE to top up. If you belong to the pre launch bro and sis, topping up is still lower than what I'm paying now.
